I picked up the militia shotgun for a few matches and OMG I am "Lord of the Battlefield" I have no skills in shotgun and I used a basic Gal Scout dropsuit with cloak and I suddenly am on top and I think this is wrong. Something has to be done to Nerf the shotgun...reduce the damage...do not allow scouts to use them.

As I said, I do not mean to offend anyone but the Shotgun Scout should NOT exist, its too easy and cheap and a slap in the face to all scouts who go it the hard way with SMG's NK's and basically any other weapon.

If you use a shotgun it should only be equitable without a cloak device or not equitable by scouts. I'm sorry but its too powerful and easy to sneak up on Assaults, Heavies and other Scouts while cloaked and pick them off in 1 or 2 shots.... sadly even with a militia version.

Have scouts given up on their difficulty level competing with Assaults and have just went to the one weapon that gets the job done easy? I just think it should be harder than picking up the shotgun because some of us work hard with the other tools of the trade and there should be balance in game... especially with cloak.

The shotgun scouts can all hate me but if I can rock on the battlefield with a militia shotgun, then this game is broken. As a scout from the beginning, I call for a nerf of the shotgun or make it unequipable by scouts using cloak.

Scout for life, Bad JuJu Jones (Insert hate mail here) Your opinion has been noted and dismissed out of hand. I want more freedom in how I choose to play DUST, not less. I run a scout sometimes too. When I put on a militia heavy suit and HMG I can fill up the kill feed with no SP invested in the role. By your logic, should we do away with Fat HMG'ers? I die to them all the time. Am I bitching about it? No. Don't like it? Instead of complaining, just play something else "Stay gold, Ponyboy..."
