I was just wondering. I will have triple xp boosters stacked until legion but I hate getting around the same amount of SP that I used to with the 3 stacked now. |

Dude you dont get your cap faster with boosters. In a matter of fact when you buy them you will feel forced to play to cap out. Your SP gain will match the SP cap increase so your are running in a circle of nonesense.
Bright is the opposite of dark! Who would have thought of that?!

No I understand that, but getting 3k SP for a full Domination match going 9-2 with 900 WP just seems wrong. Therefore, adding boosters does give MORE SP over time but I know it does not contribute to your cap. |

SP gain went back to what it was before the Tuesday hiccup.
I don't know if its a different formula now(against afking) or
plain what it used to be. Today I got 13k sp in a Dom no boosters.
I did only get 200k isk though in that same battle. Isk seems kinda low for 3k wp 13k sp. |

That is so true. South Park's episode clearly explains free games. Watch the episode and wake up. Its a free game so there will never be a need for them to make it better. To make it better you pay, just like boosters and respects.

It is a little sad that people needed a comedy show that has varying levels of hypocrisy and pretentiousness to think that a Free to Play model might be utilized in a terrible way. It isn't like the comparison hadn't been made before. Jeez, Dungeon Keeper Mobile pretty much got burned at the stake for what it was.
However, that episode was mostly about games that would be described as Free to Wait. Take close note of the "make everything based on timers" statement by the 'Canadian Devil.' It is still possible to do a Free to Play without making it akin to a Skinner Box.
No one bashes League of Legends for having Boosters that let you unlock more stuff if you pay money for them, nor do they state that you shouldn't be able to buy champions with Riot Points. While not as much of an "Ethical Free to Play" game as LoL or Path of Exiles, DUST is still fairly close with the exception of the recent Triple Stacking Booster which only happened because Rattati left his brain in the car and thought Boosters worked in the exact opposite way that they do. Expect that to change within a month or so.
Stating that a game has to be miserable to play "because it is Free to Play and South Park!" is really shortsighted. At least in my opinion.
(And now after spouting my opinion in such a perfectly framed way as to make everyone else look completely ridiculous while I come off as some messiah of enlightenment, "I think we learned something today") Sorry for that bit; the show has just really rubbed me the wrong way for the past few years with it's increased pretension.

for a domination i could usually get 2k+ WP and like 5k SP but needle change hit us.. wp went down to like 2500.. and then 1.9 hit.. and SP went up to like 8k to 10k depending on how much wp i could sully my ass for.. but then the SP nef came and cut it down by 3x.. its stupid

I use 3 fits to get 3k wp a match.
I start with a basic scout and 2 proto uplinks. I put 5 spawn points in good places on the map.
Then i go to a supply depot, change to free fit and die.
Then I use a fit with 3 different nanohives, 2 health and 1 gaged ammo. I put these 7 nanos at the best spawn point i made.
Then i go back to supply depot, change to another free fit and die.
Then i play the fit i want for rest of match.
A good one i use is basic scout, a advanced uplink, and a repper.
Its so cheap i dont care how many times I die.
But the points you get repping add up so fast, i mean
there is never a shortage of hurt people right? |
