I've seen a lot of misinformation about the nature of headshots on both the Scrambler Rifle and the Scrambler Pistol. I aim *hehe* to clear this up...
The headshot bonus on the Scrambler Pistol is exactly 375%. On the nose.
Compare this to the headshot bonus of most weapons, which is 150%. Weapons like the Rail Rifle, the SMG, the HMG, the Combat Rifle, the Ion Pistol and the Assault Rifle all do 150% headshot damage. I will confidently say that 150% is the standard headshot multiplier, as most weapons have this same multiplier.
The Scrambler Rifle does not have a boosted headshot multiplier. A lot of people seem to believe it does. It has the same 150% multiplier you would see on most weapons.
It has never had a boosted multiplier either. Since it was released, it was 150%, and it remained to this day.
Take this for whatever you will, I only want to clear up some misconceptions.

I believe you are incorrect on both points. I base my assertions on the data that Rattati released with the balance hotfix. I have not tested it, but will.....
I might be wrong with the Ion Pistol...
Last time I ever really used it, which was before its latest buff, it was 150%.
But I can assure you the ScP has a 275% bonus.

I've taken that into account.
My scrambler pistol, with no proficiency, does 450% headshot damage to shields.
450/1.2=375 wow! such maths!
