Looking at the rates various people are getting of officer weapon drops it is obvious that all you did was bumped up a number in the broken equation. I have no problem with drop rates being low as we are talking about officer grade weapons and people should not be able to grind up a huge stockpile of them.
The simple fact is having an event where some random group of people get the shaft while others get showered with weapons is disgraceful. Whoever thought this was a good idea without an in depth investigation into the salvage system and its actual functionality should issue a public apology.
Yet again I feel ignorant for expecting better of you and thinking maybe you had introduced a better salvage system on the down low in the 1.9 release.

That's the thing about random drops. They are random. Try and chill out your going to give yourself a hernia. If you talk like this over a game I'd love to see how badly you deal with life.

If you play for the sake of enjoyment without paying mind to the ongoing event or the need to attain SP, then this will all pass over rather quickly. With no intentions of farming officer weapons, I've attained 21 so far. I hadn't realized that I salvaged all of this until I checked my assets.
Screw the event. Screw SP. Play for fun and good things will eventually come to you. |

can conferm salvage is still garbage and near non existant.. and have yet to get an officer drop since event started

You should have a higher chance of looting Officer weapons when you have a better rank on the scoreboard. This is so obvious that I don't understand why/how CCP didnt do it yet...
This would reward players who PTFO and reduce AFKers.
This event is a joke, we should always have the actual droprate, not a 1 week event. Even if I played 8 battles yesterday and salvaged NOTHING...
I am in the top 3 of every single battle I play, and usually first. And I havent loot any officer weapon for a month and -I'm an assault player- last one was a Gastun FG.
Take out all forms of scans and you'll see how great Dust can be.
Scrubs will cry, good players will love it.

You should read up a little more. While the technology has advanced every formula still yields a predictable result.

It's not random. If you play the game, you get nothing. If you AFK, you get officer weapons. |

When the victory or defeat screen is showing, just before the stats come up, hit: UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, B, A, SELECT, START.

Well they are still officer weapons, you can't drop them every match.
I'm satisfied of the drop rates, this week i can forgive the tendency of the game of put me in finished matches as i gain one more chance to receive a drop.

Just finished my 30th match and have only received one set of weapons. Most high SP players seem to be seeing the same results, meanwhile several low SP players I know have received 4-6 sets in as many matches.
The pattern is growing pretty clear.
If it is random we should be shown the calculation method. |

The fact that some portion of the player base seems to have an advantage in officer weapon accumulation.
An event can be as grindy as they want it to be but rewarding some more than others even under the guise of random is not cool. Calling it an event is also an overstatement but that is a matter of opinion.

Played a handful of matches and didn't get a single bit of salvage (except in the one FW match but that doesn't count), Even pulled out my "OH My God" fit, hoping that if I went all out I'd get something but nope. Had a match against NS and a few other groups, was the only one on my team to go positive and was only beat in WP's by the one logi on the team, still nothing.
This isn't anything new to me though, I've rarely gotten salvage for some reason since I started playing in chrome.
