Nope i remember the time when even "lonely wolf" matches were balanced under MUs reign.
But it seems something is with algorytm or im to OP (what is honestly nonsence - mostly with not much killing skill), because its kicking me to UP band mostly.
But hey i have still some ISKies and SP/LP.

i dont squad that much in pub but i alway sseem to go against higher tier/proto/squads more often :/

Not worth playing solo if you have a high Mu, the teams are almost always heavily stacked against you and the blues are 50-100 clones behind by the time they lose.

I think a lot of it comes down to having a small player base and that the best veteran players all tend to gravitate together as they are in well formed, organised corporations/ chat/ comms. ie. oh look x, y, and z are all online tonight, how you guys doing lets squad up.

This means that at any one time there are a limited number of 'good' squads online. Unless two of these squads happen to queue up at the same time for the same game mode on the same server the chances of them meeting each other are probably actually quite small.

Therefore Scotty adds the squad to one team, works his way down the list, and then even having filled up the entire other team with available players hasn't managed to equal the same mu score of the original veteran squad..... but still has to add other players into their team too. Hence the stomping.

I agree though that sometimes it goes completely off the rails and you end up with something like a full squad of 1UP and a squad of Italian Hunters against a deeply frustrated vet and a bunch of blueberrys like myself.

I can only assume that what happens here is either Scotty has a sadistic side or maybe matches up one all available players in the queue and then the last squad joins late so they just get added to the empty slot without moving all the other players around first.




I've also said before that I think there is something funny in the idea of balancing the match purely on mu and therefore you could end up with a vet protostomper having to solo it against a team of 16 fresh faced recruits.

Thats the problem, i dont have "hi mu" i basicaly suck big time in shooting and thats reason why im mostly in second wave like support.
In FW im squaded up, but in PCs im sometimes soloing and thats time when MU mostly hate me
