Add it to the list of non events that bombed the forums.
Planetside 2 on PC weirdly
GTA V on PS3
Even The Last of Us on PS3 was hailed as the dooooooooom of Dust.
More recently, Destiny. Anything I'm missing?
Dust will end when the playerbase gives up on CCP (as I am currently doing) not when a specific game comes out.
I was fully ready to jump into GTA:O when it launched but the launch was so terrible and they never delivered on the heists, so I've given up on that one too.
We'll bang, OK?

Planetside 2 on PC, Titanfall, Destiny, Batltefield, Call of Duty.
None of these have killed DUST. I don't think Planetside on PS4 will do it. Let's face it, the only thing that could kill DUST is CCP and/or Legion.
Not that the game is particularly healthy or ever has been.

PS2 is also a free to play game with unlimited PvP like Dust. Unliked Destiny, it will be more directly competitive in Dust's niche.
I'll still pay Dust though. Love me some spreadsheets and graphs! |

Dust is here, its as Immortal as its Clone soldiers even if it has a smaller niche playerbase.

wrong, its still limited on numbers per sector of the map.. even so it was on PC first where as Dust was PS3 first.. but when legion comes out.. ON PC.. we may see a stupid flood of people there because #PCMASTERRACE!
