I recently started my 25Q training in the army. A big part of that is using line-of-sight antennae: instead of your usual radio, this shoots a signal in 1 specific direction, much like the active scanners infantry have in Dust, as opposed to vehicle or passive scanners. I thought that Dust could use something like this to deliver TACNET Intel- namely scan readings- to allies.
TLDR, this would be a piece of equipment that can share your scans with allies ina specific direction.
Here is how it might work: an active scanner-like device could be put in the equipment slot (or a more powerful turret version) to constantly deliver Intel in a cone. However, as in reality, the strength of your signal is a double-edged sword. While your signal is active, your signature profile increases. more so the larger area the signal beam covers. So, if you waned, you could have an HAV set up as a signal powerhouse, with the downside of it being seen by everybody and their brother on the enemy team.
This would also give LAVs a more useful role: One could be cruising around with not only an active scanner to support front line troops, but also an LOS antenna in the turret slot, feeding Intel to a flanking squad. Potentially when battles become larger, a spiderweb of signals could be set up to give a rail or sniper on a grassy knoll a feed of almost every enemy within the web.
Thoughts? Questions?

+1 Now This idea would be perfect to implement specific to Logistics vehicles as well as MAVs if they ever come. Also it opens up more EWar concepts such as signal blockers and Signal Scrambling (Causing false intel to appear on the receiving end)
