Tonka Legacy Molon Labe. General Tso's Alliance 122	Posted - 2014.11.20 18:32:00 - [1] - Quote The game seems to be lacking something more than just weapon balancing and new environments. I think each merc (depending on race and dropsuit type) should have a personality, talk a little, make some noises, something that makes killing on the battlefield a lot less quiet and boring. But I would like it only if the things they say and sounds they make where kept serious. Maybe something like when you are killed but can still be revived, when u ask for a pick-up, he yells "MEDIC", or when you need ammo, you can call it out, helps people who dont have mics to ask around his team for ammo or heals. I could go on and on, but I think im gonna stop. Sentinel: I am heavy weapons guy... Commando: I got a RR and a CR, Im so good. Logi: In it 4 the points and points only.

There was a time (very short time, around Uprising Patch 1.5 I think) when you DID hear the voice of your own merc. ... Yes. It was limited. It occured only in a combat engagement, and ONLY when your merc was the victim of a headshot. Don't laugh... I'm telling the truth. Your merc made "uh-uH-UH!" noise as each round struck and finally killed the merc during the headshot. This coincided with the odd flash of red (blood?) that you see when you've received a headshot. It created a little controversy and discomfort with some player (...I was shocked that they even seemed to get the GENDER of the voice correct---my merc sounded a little hoarse, but definitely female). By Patch 1.7, the voice disappeared... Taken out of the game, I guess. So,... yikes, we might not ever get voices back again. That past experience may have ruined any future chances for us, LOL! Universe of good wishes for the 49, especially CCP Eterne... No story can have life without writers and publishers.
