I enjoy playing with other people in squads. If you think I'm not going to run in squads because we stomped you, you are sadly mistaken.
Use squadfinder & run with better players....
...or continue to get pounded if you continue to run solo.
The choice is yours.
That said, I do agree we need a little time in the war barge. 30 seconds is fine. |

I see you and Mike doing the same thing that I'm talking about and your ruining the game . Care about squad play ? I have no problem with that but when you go against random players , the fact that your playing with players that your familiar with gives you a distinct advantage that you just can't dispute . Your not as good as you think that you are as long as you use others as a crutch . Like it or not that's just a fact . Pubs should be a mixture of random players . If you care about squads so much , why not play with others , other then the norms that you play with .?. grab some rookies and squad with them for a change if your so skilled and not ALT's from the same friends that you crutch on ? Oh yeah , because people like you drive away newer players and you take pride in doing so . Don't kid yourself , please .... just don't .
The reality is I'd stomp you with or without my squad.
I play with experienced players and newer members alike.
Don't pretend to know how I play or with whom.
Don't like being beaten by players better than you? Practice.
Don't like being beaten by squads? Join one.
Don't like being beaten by players familiar with each other using teamwork? Try it yourself.
Just don't tell me to not enjoy the game the way I want to enjoy it because you don't like getting beat.
Nobody did me any favors when I started playing this game. I got stomped relentlessly.
What did I do? It certainly didn't entail QQing on the forums when faced with a challenge.
I tried what beat me. I learned. I adapted. I got better.
You might try it too.
Or you might QQ.

I am not going to allow you to make this about you or me for that matter , this is about a game that should be doing way better then it is currently and what could be done to change that because to me , it's never too late and I believe that a lot of people who left are waiting for the right things to happen to come back and small steps that are firm are better then long uncoordinated strides to me . I want the numbers to increase , I want the people that I introduce to this game , to understand what I see in it and the community , I want to have better matches that are far more intense then the current set up . Can't have a " if it ain't broke then don't fix it " attitude because this $h!t is broken as frack and it just doesn't seem like the things that really need to be done are being done . I'm not going to give you that type of power . I wan't this game to be the best in it's genre and right now , it's not even top five . I wanna see Angry Joe do a late as hell review of Dust 514 because this game deserves it . I would like to know that others think that this game is moving in the right direction , can't really say that now .

But, much like squads or teamwork, rather than overcome you deflect and make up excuses.
Listen, some time in the warbarge to form squads is a good suggestion. So is a game mode that caters to non-squadded players, as Thor suggested. If that leads towards a more popular game, then I'd be all for it.
Just don't tell me that I'm ruining the game because I'm trying to win using the methods that CCP has put into the game, because that's making it personal, and I don't take kindly to that. |

We have played together before , multiple times and I can say that for the most part , if I'm on your team we win , if not I loose but look at the match make up once and a while and you will understand what I'm talking about . I'm not against you or squad play , I'm against mismatched matches and that's all . That's the whole point of this discussion . Look at the make up of the games and tell me if I'm lying .
You see "mismatched matches", I see a challenge to overcome, and I like challenges. Relish them, even. I guess we're just wired differently.
The games are much better matched than they used to be. That's a fact.
I can't help it if your blueberries don't help. Believe me, I get the same people on my team all the time.
But perhaps we could incent trying more by changing the way WP/SP are given -- that would help.
Perhaps we could add time to the warbarge -- that would help.
Perhaps we could even add a game mode without squads/coms -- like Thor suggested a few posts above -- although I suspect it would only reinforce solo behavior and further water down the rest of the game, but it might help.
Tell me what we can change in the game, just don't tell me I'm bad or hurting this game because I try to win. Because I'm not going to stop trying. That's not how I roll. |

No, this is matchmaking's fault for not putting the protostompers up against other protostompers.
My squad of three got shunted into a match against Leadfoot10 + squad once. I swear the other 13 blueberries were randoms. I saw one guy swapping fittings at the supply depot in our redline for 3 minutes...
It is not Leadfoot10's fault Scotty gave me window-licker teammates. And I TOTALLY agree , I even said that previously . Leadfoot10 is a good player but the match make up suffers . It's not anyone's fault but the ones that can actually do something about it . This MU crap is garbage and isn't helping in the least , I would make an alt just to test and get placed right into a stomp fest right after graduation , now that's complete B.S. I would get placed in matches that I couldn't pay CCP enough to put me in while on my main . Something is just so wrong about that .
I don't think you understand how MU and team balancing works.
MU doesn't decide who goes into a particular battle, it decides how the battle is balanced between the teams once the match is full and launches.
Perhaps what you should be suggesting is match making rather than team balancing... |

No worries, bro, we all want this game to be more popular and successful.
If I may offer you some advice, it would be to focus more on the solution and less on the problem.
We all want a more competitive and popular game. The question is how to go about it, not who is at fault (I blame CCP!  ). |

The facts are we have good players and we have not so good players. We have people who only run solo, and people who run only in squads. We have people who run only proto, and people who never do. We have people who try hard to win, and people who could care less.
