Highly unlikely. Legion will probably be quite similar to how Dust is now when it's released, just on PC. |

probably since it looked like they were able to move the assets that are in dust to Legion at fanfest so I don't think it'll be that hard to get started on those things and get most or at least half of those things in Legion at launch.
Should Legion be on the ps4?

Those personal drones were just an item for PSHome when the DUST beta was getting started. I don't think CCP has ever mentioned them becoming an actual thing.

Drones have already been confirmed as an "on release" item for Legion. I highly doubt all the others are high priority.

wel PVE i believe is one of there main focus projects, so i think that will come when legion comes out, aswell as the drones. The personal drones is proberly something on the backburner and more for a future expansion. I believe the MAV personal carrier and the Mtac is still on there list, allthough most likely not straight away. And the jetbike and fighters are proberly also on a list for a far away expansion. But for fighters to work you need space, which you don't have in the current maps, so it might be something that could work in PVE where you have a larger area, but that's just my opinion. Also they are working on different OB's right now, so it could be that fighters might become something you call in like a bombercarpet or a fighter run to destroy surtain targets with enough WP's. |

It should be noted, that all of those things were conceived of and listed by a DUST team that is very different than the DUST or Legion teams today. Just because something was in a plan somewhere then does not mean it's still in the plan now. CCP Rattati, for instance, has less concern for fulfilling promises made by past regimes, as he is concerned about making the best game possible.
Some, all, or none of the concept work previously shown may be used in future iterations of DUST or Legion. Obviously, MTACs didn't come in 'an expansion in 2013', so clearly, plans change. ;)

Agreed- Which is why we need to communicate that this was one thing that really annoyed the Dust514 community and shouldn't happen with Project legion considering the art assets are there but need the unreal scripting. If we support it they will listen but you have to communicate the need for it in droves.
In Eve it took us since 2003 to get WASD , which is now on the Eve test server. I am hoping Project Legion really takes into consideration the same values that we wanted or were promised for Dust514 despite leadership changes in the studio. I think the first part is nailing really good animations and combat. My fingers are crossed. Just my guess.

Actually, a lot of that looks like concept art, not in-game models.

I believe that Legion will be much more capable of handling CCP crazier ideas, also seeing CCP is significantly more experienced with PCs versus Consoles and won't have sony's update policy, they should be able to implement more ideas quickly.

One of the things CCP Rattati has brought to DUST development, which hopefully effects Legion development, is the importance of a coherent vision.
The original DUST team developed in the philosophy of GÇ£hey, that sounds cool! LetGÇÖs build it!GÇ¥ This produced lots of cool stuff that did not balance well together, and lots of other cool stuff that was announced, but never went anywhere.
Rattati, for the most part, has been trying to figure out an overriding philosophy of how things should work before has starts messing with stuff. You can see this in how he laid out the slot changes to suits, and his work to balance rifles. Taking things which were designed individually and trying to figure out how to fit them as one part into a larger whole.
If CCP has learned from RattatiGÇÖs success they will first ask themselves what they want the Legion gameplay experience to be. Then they will identify what assets are essential for that gameplay experience to work; what assets will add flare and variety to that gameplay experience; and what would be nice but not essential for the experience they are going for.
I would expect full racial variants of the racial vehicles that we have now. We might get one or two more vehicle types IF those new vehicle types serve a clear purpose within the game experience they are trying to create.
MAVs and Jet Bikes might have a use in Salvage districts depending on how the mechanics work. I have been pushing for a limit to how much Salvage you can carry on a Dropsuit, which would give vehicles a purpose. If they do that, then we are more likely to get more vehicles.
As to MTACs, and Fighter Jets, I donGÇÖt expect to see them until the core game is fully flushed out. Unless the vision for the game includes a clear purpose which they would server.
We will likely get the rest of the racial variants of the Heavy weapons, particularly since it looks like we may get them with placeholder art assets in DUST soon.
We will get NPC Drones, because that it part of the vision for Salvage grounds.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

If Legion becomes a thing they better blow us out of the water, how much quite time they have with it and nothing being announced at Fanfest means they are taking their time... They'll have no excuse if it's released and it's just a PC lobby shooter with a Dust skin... |

Afaik Legion is bult around Salvaging and PvE from ground up. So that will probably be in.
