There should be no free remote explosives. Don't you realise links are better not just for your own score but also your teams chances of winning.
I'm honestly sick of coming top on my team cause I'm the only ****** on my side who knows what a link is and how to use them.

I only ever use a scout to drop uplinks. I don't use it for anything eles. Its the first suit I use and I also use it if I'm dropping links behind enemy lines. Aside from that I use an amarr logi for links.

I use a scout for just that, a scout. Uplinks + Precision Enhancers + Range extenders. no one on my squad ever has to waste a slot on an active scanner.
I'm not skilled enough into scout to use it for that role. I'm actually a fat suit user. From the minmando to amarr sentinal. I started using link because of the awful places people drop links and expect fat suits to be able to use them. Places like pipes instead of the girders around them.

Links that others may not use because they are BASIC and waiting 15 seconds may take too long. Bear in mind not everyone has the same fitting setup. You like having drop uplinks great. no I relise that links are necessary to win.
