Deploying and using equipment is at the heart of what logistics suits should be doing. Currently scouts can be better than basic logis. The Amarr/Caldari logis start with 2 equipment slots? If I remember correctly. No, no, no CCP. Bad boy!
All logi suits should have the 3/4/5 equipment slot progression. As far as the Amarr logi is concerned if people want it to keep its sidearm then it can have a 3/4/4 slot progression. But the sidearm could also be something that is unlocked at prototype level (for example)
Unfortunately, a dev (logibro?) recently mentioned that the game cannot support five equipment slots, as they had apparently intended. Would require new code. Get coding CCP!

In exchange for a sidearm, they give up an equipment slot, and a bunch of PG, and also a high slot.
If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

Five is too much.
All of them should start at 3 and end with 4 I feel like as allies, Amarr and Callogi should both have sidearms(but callogi sacrifices one high slot for the sidearm) And as allies, min and Gallogi have their own special feature(maybe like two grenade slots, something like that) I also feel like all logi suits should start with 2 highs 2 lows at basic and then become distuingished in slots later on.(you know, say basic callogi starts at 2 highs 2 lows then gets much more highs later on etc)
This way they come out more neat and effective on the battlefield slotwise.
The rail rifle complaints show how self entitled/ tactically numb players can be here.

I don't quite understand the attachment of the Amarr logis to their sidearm. I mean, I understand it's probably nice to have, but how do you justify it being in line with the role of logistics: having somewhat limited combat potential while providing support? "Combat-logi" sounds like an oxymoron and more synonymous with "slayer-logi" than actual support.
Personally I think all logi suits should be 3/3/4 or better yet 3/4/4 on equipment with only a light weapon.
