Is there a legitimate reason why there are no advanced or prototype breach flaylocks but there are prototype breach mass drivers? Also are there any plans to introduce them if introduced I'd like to see a major blast radius increase and clip size. 2 shots arent enough this is a squad based game unfortunately for lone wolves a 2 shot clip is useless. I have just taken my flaylock to lvl 4 and I'm extremely disappointed in it. I've done far better with other sidearms. What I want to know is how have others fared with the flaylock and what do you all think of having more breach flaylocks. |

I like the flaylock when I'm on an elevated position, and it's good for cleaning up enemy equipment such as RE's, the Breach flaylock as it currently is should be removed from the game, it's useless.
That moment when you mow down a proto Caldari assault suit with a militia laser rifle.
Words can't describe it.

Because the Breach Flaylock is utter trash.
However, the Core Flaylock is devastating in the right hands.
Proto Prof III, the thing is fantastic. It's the most versatile sidearm by far.
It's varied uses Checking points for RE's by a quick splash or two Uplinks in hard to reach places? Hit it with flaylock splash. Someone trying to camp a corner? SPLASH Walk up behind a heavy? Nothing like some direct armor damage to wake him up. Scout hot on your heels with a shotty? Flaylocks eat up most scouts in 2 or 3 hits. SO MUCH MORE
It also makes for some hilarious deaths with ragdoll. It's by far my favorite sidearm to use (Quickly followed by the bullet hose)

I think the breach should be used for breaching :-) a bkast radius increase could make it much more effective. |

I use them all the time. Nice to have when your in an elevated position, a mini mass driver for crowded areas. I use my flaylock for 3 reasons,
1) Its a great anti-scout weapon, blast damage and blast radius works even against disco dancing cal scouts.
2) Great when an enemy your shooting at takes cover, i hate playing peek-a-boo games especially the ones who prefire around corners or ones that are like one bullet away from dying. Its freaking annoying, i just aim my flaylock a bit next to their cover, saturate the area with a couple rounds and suddenly.
+50 Kill
3) Ragdoll--need i say more?

Love the flaylock personally. Not so much interested in the breach variant, as it is kind of a garbage concept. But a proto specialist flaylock would be extremely enticing... |

I have to disagree the breach has a faster reload and does more damage the crutch at the moment is the blast radius. If the breach prototype was 3 shots with a larger blast radius it could be good. A cramped hallway with a heavy could be nice. You would basically be a heavy with contact nades. |

breach flay is just terrible right now.
I would use it if it had normal RoF, 3 round clip and about 25-40% more direct than a basic flay.
Also it doesn't reload faster.

It needs some love for sure I think a healthy clip size and lowered radius would do wonders. Since the weapon is so hard to hit with the extra shells would be more forgiving and allow the weapon to potentially cover a larger radius than could be achieved with the current stats.
