27, own a dairy farm, adviser to young farmers in my co-op, lobby to congress when they do really stupid things, and a general annoyance on the dust battlefield.
Please Lone-wolf responsibly. Calling for nerfs because you died is bad, cause its usually your own stupid fault.

That was me at 22. Just finished college. Working at a **** company, legit alcoholic, and genuinely bad person. Then dad said its time to grow up and asked me to buy the farm.
Complete 180. Granted I was a lucky one.

I thought it was just all temp-to-hire (fire) now. Where are you at bud? Vegas, there doesn't seem to be a lot of good welding stuff over here. Recommend any good schools for welding? Thinking of going to UNR because of the Civil Engineering part, everyone tells me to study this instead of pure welding because it's more broad.
Any place with really strong manufacturing is going to need skilled welders. Idk much about Nevadas weld schools but ill tell you the Midwest ones are good... until you try to get the new guys outta their comfort zone then I ended up teaching them how to weld all over again.
Comes down to what you want: structural, oil rigging and pipelining, factory welding or really specialty stuff.
Id hang off every word your old duffers are saying though, they'll teach you the most useful tricks.

In a scholarship program that pretty much guarantees me a college as long as I hold all As and Bs throughout high school. Not sure if I want to do chemical, mechanical, or biotech engineering...
Biotech.
The world will be fixed much faster with more biotech research.

Yesterday I was talking to this girl who is my friend and we have a lot in common. Most is in running and shes a nice person and all.
My question is where should I take her ?
All I could think of is going on a walk on the beach, go to the park, or go out on a run and after that Eat alot of food!!!
Ive never asked a girl before so this will be my first time. :)
Take her to play pool. It's somewhat casual, and it's an activity (movies are BAAAAAAD first dates). Beach and park are nice, but an activity like playing pool is better. You want to do something together you can TALK about. If you go for a walk, it is purely about whatever you think to say. An activity gives you common ground to start the conversation - makes it a lot easier to talk and therefore a lot more fun and therefore a better chance at a second date. Let us know how it goes! EDIT: going for a run is not a good idea; it will be hard to talk and the point of a first date is to earn a second. If she doesn't get to know you, and you don't get to know her, no second date will happen. Play pool ? Im sorry but I dont know what play pool is. The run workout is something I have in plan but not like Oh run fast. No it wil be a slow run and talk pace. :)
Pool, aka Billiards.
From personal experience this as a first and/or second date is incredibly rewarding. Between the conversation topics, verbal and non-verbal cues, you can learn alot about the person you're showing an attachment/investment to.
Plus you can be cheesy as hell, or a total shark or even a castlenova if you play billiards enough
