On a side note, Good damn job to all of the younger crowd that seem to be working so hard in school. The future is in your hands. Obviously the previous generations have ran the world into the toilet. Good luck fixing it.
The parent coming out in me. Hope my kids take it that serious when they are your ages. |

Nah, not really stereotypical look anymore. Gaming reaches out to such a large audience these days its amazing. My parents play games online. I thought it was crazy to find out my late GP played online games. Heck I didn't even think that old man knew how to operate a computer. Game playinest, facebookinest, old man ever. |

But yes guilty as charged Same here, I'm like 6'0 220 lbs of muscle, I work out and play basketball regularly. I don't look like it but I'm a total geek. I blow other nerds minds when talking computers and video games. Think Channing Tatum from 22 Jump Street but way smarter and no where near as good looking :)
Ha, same here. I'm working out while f'in off on forums between sets. Supersets are one hell of a workout btw. |

Single; Girlfriend moved away 2 years ago and is planning on being a marine. Sooo, no go.
Unemployed, though with a variety of talents and a near genius IQ, I could probably find something. Regardless, going nowhere due to severe anxiety and depression stuff. Dust is my escape. A younger me!! the only exception are I wanted to go to the Marines but depression history got me rejected and I didn't make full use of my IQ in school so just follow a few words from a stranger : Keep going and there's always someone out in the world who can share and cover if not, heal that pain you go through.I check forums and would gladly talk to a stranger if they aren't blindly hostile to the point of authorties. So you can get at me private if you want to. Side note: I read manga to escape getting down.
I was gonna tell the kid the same thing. I made it through life ok i guess. I do often wonder how different things would have went if I was more open and dealt w same problems differently. I kept and still keep everything in. No one knows what truly goes on inside my head and trust me you don't want to. Handicaps many aspects of life. Guess I have my kids to try to make sure they don't make same mistakes I did. I'm one hell of an encyclopedia of what not to do in life. Not a bad person, I have a higher moral standards than most people I meet, but really would like to have done a few things different. |

both my boys play as well. And you mentioned manga, just bought drawing tablet and manga studio 5 few weeks ago. Haven't really drawn in around 20 yrs. Adapting to digital easier than I thought. Hope to post up some Dust related stuff when I knock all this rust off. |

I'm one hell of an encyclopedia of what not to do in life. Not a bad person, I have a higher moral standards than most people I meet, but really would like to have done a few things different. I don't smoke or drink but i'm the type of person that can tell you how to make friends and be social but never do so myself so if I have kids or get married (pretty much gave up on like/loving anyone) I wouldn't want them to take my route.
I feel ya man. I kinda steer away from being social (although these Dust forums seem to bring it out of me). Mostly because my morals get in the way from allowing anyone too close. As soon as I hear someone start bragging about getting drunk and cheating on their other, or catch them in lies, or just plain show their level of being a degenerate in this world I feel those are the enemy and I protect my beliefs. I don't need someone to hang out with bad enough to put up with people not raised right. Those guys could be the same people who talk my daughters in to doing things I'd kill over. I was a passive person too long. I made a complete 180 and stand up to whoever/whenever. The world is a horrible place if you look beyond your bubble. Its only gonna get worse unless you do something about it.
Living this way shut me out to a lot of the world, and I understand you wouldn't want your kids to live in a similar way, but I'd also want them to not turn into a lot of other people who feel there is no consequence for their actions. Don't get me wrong just because I have certain beliefs doesn't mean I haven't put myself into many places I shouldn't have been. I've seen most of what hell has to offer. I know who the enemy is and how bad the world can really get. I gained intel into the enemy and know what to look out for and keep my kids from. Better than being nieve i guess, but paints the most depressive picture of how the world actually is. There is no pill or therapy for that. With eyes wide open thats just how life is. Sad but true. |

I was gonna say, or just 19 and doesn't know any better/worse. Hope everything works out for the guy, but who i was at 19 and who I was at 29 were two totally different people. She might grow up and realize who she really is and want something different out of life. |
