Last sunday 2pm Eve time I started grinding this char from 73,3 M SP.
Seven days (and 12hrs) after: 79,4 M SP.
That's 6,1 M SP in time period of seven days.
What a grind. Finally got decent sleep, and now have to start the grind on next char.
By the way, it took 88 weeks (22months) to reach 70 M SP. Now one tenth was given out in a single week... That DOES seem radically out of balance to me. Maybe to some others as well?

My money is on "boosters are just going to help you cap FASTER rather than give more SP" and cap of 750k will stay. The logic will be "not everyone will cap out every week unless they grind, grind, grind or buy boosters."
Let's hope there will be that change.
BTW the 750k cap IS currently "killing the game" it is such a stupendously high amount of game time required to reach the 'game's intented weekly goal'.
Note that goal of course hasn't been announced as such but nevertheless that is how it appears to playerbase and how the games' psychology works.

I applaud your masochism and dedication to self suffering.
Suffering is the correct word.
It is a pain alongside full time work and gf.
My gf even pointed out: "Honey, is there any sensibility in that thing [high number of games required]"

Smart ones of you naturally realise that my 6M was the result of two weeks cap sunday-to-sunday. Only very few overpriced instant SP boosts.
But my point stands - too high SP gain potential and too much grind.

The logic will be "not everyone will cap out every week unless they grind, grind, grind or buy boosters." Guys relax. It's only for one month. They'll reduce it waaaay down after that. So this is a one month event for people who want to grind like that. Their one chance. No skin off my back.
This is the feedback to send the message that it should be returned.
Remember, nothing is locked, CCP is looking at how this month goes and decides afterwards. With no feedback we could only blame ourselves if it would be a permanent... feature.

Maybe to some others as well? lets not forget that you most likely has tripple SP boosters and/or tripple instant boosters too.. stop trying to make the current SP system look OP when its not.. in the last week i maybe got 500k to 700k with out boosters of any kind
Yes I had triple actives, but virtually none instant SP spikes.
You are saying that player's can't get millions of SP per week? There's no stopping anyone else doing the same.
Why is it bad? The entire skill tree and progression system is based on previous SP gain rate. This sort of surplus would create a new need for skill tree and progression system overhaul - and that work would be away from all other Dust developement.
More on whys and other points here on original 1.9 feedback thread.
