Want to be a slayer? Play solo? Scout Play with squad? Assault. damped scout runs up to squad, squad does not see scout. scout abuses jump momentum to throw RE right into squad... I guess you know what happens next but yeah, assault is good if you can fight on your terms. problem is that you can rarely select the terms of engagement in an assault suit, even in a squad. OR!.. OR! Vs people who know what they are doing= damped scout runs up to squad, squad sees scout. THE END. wrong, he wont see the scout
dedicated damp suits have better BASE scan profile than dedicated suits have BASE scan precision AND damps are stronger than precision enhancers

Galsaults should be med-short range attackers which they are currently not. Calsaults need to be Long- Med range attackers, but they are not even attackers right now (RR charge!) Minsaults need to be hit and run tactics, but short range is close enough Amaults should be the more versatile attackers, but not completely OP at all ranges.
Scouts need to be recon
Sentinels should be defenders (solution? move extremely slow while firing a HMG)
Commandos should have a bit of freedom...
Logis are just fine now, maybe a tad bit more HP and they are balanced

This makes the most sense.
Assaults are great slayers. HP increase and slot increase was the perfect fix. Only fix needed now is Cal/RR charge time. Do the Gallente like their bonus? Min/Amarr are awesome right now, goes without saying.
I like Commandos for shock, like jumping out of dropships, although they can fulfill defensive roles. I think that Commandos and Assaults should be basically interchangeable (mobility vs presence), which they are pretty close to now. I feel like Commandos need one more slot at every level, in order to use biotics to greater effect.
Sentinels are fine. I think increasing Mass Driver direct damage slightly might alleviate some problems.
Logis need just a bit more health...maybe ~50hp to their dominant tank pool? Definitely not another slot.
Scouts are also fine. Annoying meta, sure, but remotes are the real problem (blast radius or arm time IMO).
I just realized that this iteration is the most balanced the game has ever been. I hope we get to see Pilots.

Explanation for question:
- Active scanners thrive in logis especially Gal. Most equipment= bonus for logis.
- Everyone wants a marksman instead of a sniper and continue to QQ until said sniper is within range of 90% of guns in this game (I know some can pull it off but still that's a marksman, not a sniper) Note: TAR, ScR, maybe others(?), are what the marksman weapons are supposed to be. Though there's always a disagreement which I welcome if it comes with explanation and common sense. Look at signature and you'll see one of the simple reasons it was brought up.
- Passive scans are PERSONAL and if you have no mic then there's no way to inform squad members or all team members(team chat which I rarely see used)
- All weapons kill and it's rightfully mainly used as a signature scout weapon along with the nk and pistol side arms (sort of iffy about smgs), the shotgun, which should be deadly within 10 meters and extra potent with flanking maneuvers coupled with speed and stealth ( whatever ratio be full damps, full speed, or half and half, etc.).
Personal opinion of mine but I think precision mods be JUST under damp excluding the amarr bonus(?) (forgot who has the bonus) but also maybe the proto focused active scanner. I'm still iffy since i've seen the scannerinas and know of the cycle trick but still think for damp purposes you should bypass even that scanner with whatever the number is now which I believe is (im proto both so just base on that) Gal 5, damp 5, and 2 comp mods maybe 3.
