If JLAVs remain the most viable means of anti vehicle ordinance in the game and I have to tolerate that...you certainly can tolerate this.

RE's are fine. However, Sentinel resistances aren't applying to equipment, so the RE insta pops them.
As much as I hate heavy spam, there is a problem in the coding, and it needs to be fixed.
To fix heavy spam, I think heavies need a slight HP nerf, and spawn time nerf.

Yes, its broken. I have seen exactly what you are describing happen to me many times. Hell, I have been the scout throwing them, and I've seen them "teleport". I can't guess what's causing it, but I've got a very good feel for where the REs will actually end up when I chuck them.
That said, here's my advice for dealing with it until they hopefully fix it, which has saved MY ass plenty of times so I can vouch for its effectiveness:
- Assume the scout is used to this bull**** and knows where his RE is actually going to end up (your feet)
- Assume the RE is currently arming itself on your ankles, regardless of what your eyes are telling you.
- MOVE THE **** AWAY FROM WHERE YOU WERE STANDING OH GOD JC A BOMB GET OUT OF THERE ITS GONNA BLOW
- Kill the scout while he desperately hopes you will walk back over the RE

"Remotes should stick to vehicles so they can be used against enemy vehicles." They add it in, have it stick to all vehicles rather than making it specific because that would have been annoying to code, and suddenly people are using suicide bombs in their jeeps. The points of 1) and 2) happened long before they could stick to vehicles. They are coded to work like yourself rather than teammates. So teammates can't hurt you but you can hurt yourself which is why I believe you can shoot your own Remotes and why they kill you when activated but not friendlies.

Blast radius too large (if in fact they are a/v as they claim this is not needed) Sentinels not getting resistances Refilled by nanohives and supply depots (no other equipment is) Random sliding when place around an objective that leaves them immune to flux and EYES Can be frisbee tossed many meters which actually seems to count off of the activation timer while they are flying
If only two of these issues got fixed maybe they would be more in line, I am not even pointing at any specific item from the list.

All of these problems need to be addressed but for me the biggest problem is these teleporting REs.
It is so aggravating to watch a scout toss an RE at a friendly, see that it landed nowhere near you, go to flux said RE only to be blown up because somehow that RE is now under your feet.
There is no way to counter something that isn't actually where you think it is.

Then the problem is your crappy connection, not the game. As for the whole invulnerable to explosives thing, as Madbomber myself I guarantee you they are not immune.
The amount of times I've commited suicide deploying an RE over an enemy grenade is too many to count.

Sentinels not getting resistances This is probably for the best, Sentinels aren't meant to be door kickers and RE's are area denial. In reality if you are Ant's nesting RE's are the counter to your gameplay.

No. JLAVs are not that good. Easy to counter and even without counter they often just plain fail. JLAV success ratio is far less than 50%. Far.
Two best counters to vehicles are: - LAV with two man forge team in - Missile tank, with preferably AV as a pilot
People would enjoy Dust a lot more if they accepted the fact that EVERYTHING is subject to change

I'm fairly certain it teleports because of the fact as soon as the arm timer finishes it lands at the end of its trajectory. At least thats what I have noticed. |

It's more of a animation issues. I guess. But you still can guess where it will land. Under your feets in other words. Just rush straight to scout. If you are heavy, then it's one of the counters for ya.
Ps. RE is and should be like that. Effective versus vehicles but also as good versus infiantry. Sentiniels are running everywhere. I dunno why they gave them any kind of resistaces.

I have no problems with traps, RE should one shot like they do. I have problems with teleporting traps. I have problems with nanohives which can resupply RE (why can't i resupply my uplinks with a nano?)

If they can't fix the glitch directly they should increase the arm time to 5 seconds, so there is time for the client to catch up. |

I would like it if the blast radius of the REs was reduced and I would like to be able to shoot them to blow them up without them hurting my teammates. I have run across REs that I am not able to neutralize because I have unaware teammates dancing on top of them. |
