There is really no fit worth a damn besides a Scout... (If you want fluid movement and situational awareness...)

I understand one persons opinion doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things but I have spent the past two weeks browsing the forums and really anticipating getting home from my vaca in order to dig into 1.9.. Got home stole my sons PS3 because I sold that piece of **** after CCP announced Legion (I see that hasn't gone anywhere as well...) I updated Dust and couldn't wait to get in and check out what all the hype has been about... That is at least till I spent a good 4-5hrs with 1.9, then I uninstalled... Again...

After a handful of matches I realized not a damn thing has changed with CCP and this ridiculous game of NERFBUFFPATCH514...

Frame rate and Lag is still unbelievable and unacceptable for anything in the god damn 21st century.. (Sure there is part of A MAP that doesn't lag but if that warrants a good job people need a reality check)

Maybe im the only one but grenades are lagged beyond belief again.. (Well I had a handful of instances where my grenade actually flew when I hit the button, guess that makes this a non issue then...)

I love the RR charge up delay (Sets the rifle apart) but WTF has been done with the kick/dispersion ( I feel like im a mentally handicap kid trying to eat spaghetti and my sauce is flying everywhere!)

Weapons in general still need balancing, CCP can't seem to get **** right since Chromosome.. Then again you can't balance weapons if the core game doesn't even function correctly ie Framerate, Lag, hit registration ETC... (But I guess this is CCP's selling point for Hotfixes that will keep people playing and keep the door open on their 10man operation that has continued to fail the still dwindling player base ?)

::The little stuff:::

Mouse and Keyboard is still complete **** (and to think fanboys blamed the KB&M on framerate and CCP continues to say nothing has been changed since Chromosome... B.S )

Controller sensitivity in general is still complete **** (Aim assist just needs to be removed if it doesn't actually assist you in aiming)

The fact that I still just get to see a glimpse of my team standing in the war barge is pretty pathetic

The new map/installations has a really ****** layout and random areas that if you happen to fall in one you might as well put the controller down because you're sliding for a good five minutes..


TLDR: Same ole ****, same ole worn out basket, not worth the Aurum I was looking forward to purchasing.. It's unfortunate CCP can't get their heads out of their ass and put their ego aside and either green light Legion or get Dust out of the rut it's been stuck in.. Otherwise this is just insulting to anyone spending or who has spent money on Dust..

In Dust 514 you currently have two options to be viable:

1. Be part of a HMG sentinel + logi squad
2. Scout

All other playstyles be damned.

They aren't bad. I still haven't seen a good enough reason to pick one of them over a scout or sentinel.

I'll put it this way... I am **** at this game and less than an hour ago I pulled a 37/5 game in my Amarr scout dropsuit. I reiterate: I suck, and I pulled a 7.0 K/Dr...

For context, my average K/Dr is 1.2.

and if your the masochistic type, play logi and be tied to a sentinel.

thats ironic.. my pub match kdr was like 0.98 then i started playing fw and it raised to 1.04 KDR lifetime.. but when i check weekly my kdr since iv been hardcore farming FW is like 2.x closer to 3.0

I dropped a 37/1 in a skirmish in my Minmitar assault, with it at level 4, and not even running full proto.

The last numbers Rattati pulled didn't have a single assault dropsuit in the top five... there is a reason for that homie

I hope Rattati pulls some more data for us soon. I want to see what the new top five are. Willing to bet it is still scout and sentinel combos.

lmao maybe when your MU is so low you get paired vs scrubs.

Vs anyone good unless you're camping somewhere a shotgun/re can't get you you're WAY worse off than a scout suit.

The scrubs I'm paired with are most of the time FA squads vs me solo.

For commando, the AV role and self defence of the min, the sniper and self defence for cal, the brutally good CQC of the gal (breach AR + shotgun) and I think the amarr is crap....

I miss Bolsh , he was always one of the saner heads of the forum and made a lot of great observational comments and suggestions but also was a good player as well who was wiling to do what it took to get the job done .

I was wondering where he went as I haven't seen him in-game or in the forums and now I know why .

Once again . I can't argue with what he spoke on and it's just some of the things that CCP misses out on even more now that this game has gone the way of C.R.E.A.M. ( cash rules everything around me ) and those with the money have the power .

Kinda like those who are known in the EVE forums and who's in the Dust forums as well , has more clout then someone who is just in the Dust forums . They are listened too more and better respected for some reason .

I know something needs to be done to fix this mess and no amount of money or additions of new material will help solve old and unattended problems that plague this game .

It's just not stressed as something of concern in the Dust forums so I think that it's something that's put on the backburner because it's not stressed by the community but the effects are just as damaging as a bland paying environment or boring game play because there just mismanaged opportunities that's causing stagnation of any growth in this game , so it is a concern but just not highlighted .

I appreciate the kind response Shinobi. Although I wish I could of been little more constructive in my rant, it just feels like enough is enough. I've creeped around the forums for months since fan fest like an abused wife holding on to lost memories and financial ties.. I held on to hope and had higher expectations since Rattati has been active but it seems like CCP has no clear vision besides hot fixes and old material.

Unfortunately I think Rattati is just here to soften the blow for the inevitable shut down of Dust. Not trying to polish the tinfoil hat but they have already confirmed no PS4, the transparency of Legion is non-existent its hard to stay positive.. I've lost the last remaining faith and have given up. Let's hope what ever Devs are out there trying to bring Legion to light have a solid vision and can stay away from the dorm room style management...

Just ran a PC where my assault got more kills than my scout with 1/2 the spawns (deaths)

i just figured it ou. Ok so they said they were doing no client updates till legion and boom here is a client update. We saw leigon ON A GODDAMN MOVIE and they said it was awesome looking. CCP is like the U.S. gov never telling us **** till right when they areabout finished. I bet ccp greenlit legion a long time ago and are either about halfway done or almost done and even id they didnt they are still working on dust.
