We've seen time and time again that players will just use a weapon or suit because it is better than everything else.
How many people used the laser before the viziam had a typo? How many people flew dropships before missile turrets got a buff? How many people actually used the caldari logi or scout for non-slayer playstyles?
And all of a sudden there's a huge change in the meta with the buff to breach ARs. Caldari Scouts get chewed up, I've seen breach SMGs more times on the kill feed in the past week than in my entire Dust career, and I no longer get killed from across the map by people I can't even see using RRs
The least popular weapons have never been used unless they get drastic buffs...but that got me thinking
Would you use your least favorite weapon if it all of a sudden became a competitive option? Plasma Cannon, Mass Driver, Nova Knives, Ion Pistol, Laser Rifle...have you even tried these weapons in 1.9 yet or are you just a bandwagon scrub that instantly started using a BrAR because everyone else was?
What if the PLC had a larger splash area and could two-shot medium frames? What if you didn't need a minmatar scout to kill things with nova knives? What if the Mass Driver didn't need to hit a scout 4 times to actually kill them, or could scare off sentinels?

So just give a short reply as to what your least favorite weapon is, why you don't like it, and what sort of simple buff or change would make it useful or interesting or competitive to you.
Personally, I love the PLC, but hate the fact that you have to reload after every shot and it can take 3-4 good hits to kill a relatively high HP suit. I want an assault variant (200 splash, 2 shots, very low direct damage) or at least to see the thing buffed to 400 splash at proto. The officer variant not only has a splash of 400, but can fire two shots and has additional ammo capacity (effectively tripling the dps because you only need to reload every 2 shots), so a normal variant with 400 damage won't step on the officer's toes at all.
