I've been playing for a week straight now Min FW and it's great fun !
It's the most competitive matches that I see , so that is why I left pubs !
It trains you a lot in every aspect.
Aim : you have to be careful or you shoot your team-mates.
Survivability : You must play more carefully then any other time as you play against good players and Q-Synced squads.
By playing with the best you become the best.
Yes **** happens , teammates shoot you , road kill you . But that is what makes it special.
Each win is a rewarding one as you feel like a good " citizen ".
I played some pubs for the first time this week and I was rocking , enlightened by my earlier experience with FW.
So I am telling you what I learned over the past week :
Play against the best, become the best.

Me? I haven't been slaying too much, so I doubt I'm training up my pub potential.
What I do is keep watch over 1 or 2 objectives in a CalScout. Lone hackers and scouts get assassinated, and I can cause enough inconvenience for an assaulting squad and buy enough time before they hack for the rest of my squad to arrive and neutralize the reds. Objective overwatch, if you will.
It's a lot more tense fighting to keep bases in your hands than it is to slay a few and then run off.
Give the Magsex some love.

FW killed pubs for me :/ pub matches just feel like crap now but that may be because more vets playing fw leaving little fishies in pub

adamance your sync only has room for 4 people really after you fill it with 2 teams.. so the other players cannot really get in on that sweet sweet LP goodness. i wonder how long till amarr logi suit is released i want it on my alt.

The best Amarr FW channel would be PIE Ground Control. We actively q sync and are housed by PIE Inc, the longest running Amarr corp in EVE, so we have tons of orbital support and good security. A really good foundation with a great community of players and we do our best to embrace other Amarr supporters into that community. No one likes joining a squad that makes you feel like a temporary cog to fill a hole.

My record was 5/59 across all factions it is unplayable for me. I would like a bpo suit, but it just isn't worth grinding through 60 days of extream MM disparity frustration just to get a suit meant to lower my gear disparity frustration lol. I can still win with ****** gear, but I can't beat a full quesync team and now my gear disparity is worse because I can no longer buy lp gear lol it's kinda funny.

Every match I played was awful. Competitive matches were nowhere to be found. Granted, I could only stomach a few matches because I hate Skirmish.
Being stomped on is not fun, and doing the stomping is not fun. Given that, FW is not fun, and from my experiences, has never been fun.

Here is a tip when you are going up against a ennemy that has a vantage point ALWAYS stay close to cover. You were out in the open trying to headshot me but It was easier for me so I won both duels at the end.

Oh man the competition in FW has sky rocketed. I just wish I could get into battles in FW faster. Waiting 10/20+ mins is enough to try my patience.

i sorta agree with you, i used to buy rebublic logi mk.0 to cut down on costs but now i cannot its a pain in the ass and wallet

because qsyncing kills game modes.. it was death to public matches till it was tweeked to make qsync in pub near impossable

Amarr needs to get organized. Lords of the ScR and LR can't be gettin owned like this. I want to fight for Amarr but not when blues get rolled and 5 people are shooting me every time I'm trying to kill one guy. |
