The RR sucks right now. I can't get a single kill with the base one unless my targets are far from me and from cover. The ARR is kinda working, but I feel like I keep loosing engagements of which I have set up to be in my advantage (Shadowing them from behind, unload into their head in ADS). What should I do?

The Assault version trades that off for a closer focus.
Use a Magsec with your Rail Rifle. It's great up close now that the kick is manageable AND it's Caldari if you want to stay pure.
For some reason the Magsec sucks for me. I have it prof 3, but I just think I don't know how to use it.

How would one do this? I have been lurking for a while here, and it seems that there is now a policy of no qq'ing if their is no Data. I do not have a capture card, and so the only thing I would be able to do to record is google docs numbers (of which I doubt the forum warriors will trust me with), or taking ****** images with my damn phone. Who the hell takes pictures of their tv?

I have been making fit after fit for the last two days. Either I just suck, or Caldari stuff is bad for the perceived playstyle I was told to use (Use cover, fight at ranged, rush in only when enemy is weak in numbers). I think I have lost 20Mil in just trying to experiment and then saying **** it.

My Proto suit is this:
Complex Shield Recharger
4 Complex Shield Extenders
2 Complex Shield Regulators
1 Basic Cardiac Regulator
Ishukone Rail Rifle
Kaalakiota Magsec
Wirykomi Nanite Injector
I can kinda keep myself in the positive KdR in this, but this is a Proto Suit costing a lot.

I think I have lost 20Mil in just trying to experiment and then saying **** it. Don't give up. My varitions of the Caldari assault are heavy on shields and I only use an assault rifle these days. My proto fits use a Duvolle or Allotek, my standard use a Breach or Militia which are surprisingly effective if you have them maxed out. I rarely use the RR now, it's no fun anymore. Kills are few and far between. Can give you my loadouts if you want.

So, I have finally gotten the hang of 1.9. At least I think I do. I just had to stop using my RR in medium or closer ranges. Magsec works like an assault rifle, just rail tech. Thanks guys, I think you guys helped a lot.
