You don't even need to open up the leaderboard to know you are against a corp nowadays.
This is what most of every corp squad is composed off:
- Heavies
- Scouts
-1 Logi
Whenever I see a spam of these in the field I already know that I am against a corp.
Been here since Mordus Private Trials

I'm confused. Is this thread an indictment of sentinel/scout spam, or squads of corp-mates running together?

Practically pointing out that squadded corp mates mostly run Scout and Heavy with a logi.

Well quite frankly 2x sentinels, 2x scouts, and 2x logis is a damn good squad formation. It allows the squad to easily guard almost any single objective and be effective at guarding 2 objectives when split into fire teams (at least in pubs this 2nd part works out alright).
Though admittedly I'd replace the sentinels with assaults in more open areas.
I'm surprised Maynard hasn't been assassinated yet.

I'm more of a fan of 3x Assault, 1x Scout, 1x Logi, and 1x Sentinel.
Have the Assaults run Needles for each other, Logi runs Ammo, Links, Reps and Scans. Scout runs RE/s.
Assaults make the brunt of assault force, Scout is flanking, and the Sentinel/Logi make the breaching/defense force.
Bullet Hell and Duct-Tape? Count me in!

I never done it myself, it just sounded good to me. Haven't played a PC since 1.7 & maybe a little bit of 1.8 (can't quite recall) and the extent of my tactics then was do as I'm told which unfortunately meant sitting my fat ass up high somewhere forge gunning most of the time. Pubs just aren't worth being serious enough for planned out tactics so I just wing it in those.

People coulndt hurt them x) It was so much fun!
Take out all forms of scans and you'll see how great Dust can be.
Scrubs will cry, good players will love it.

I know I'm against a corp when there is 3 proto logis(You'll never see just one of them( its to much risk not enough isk)) 2-3 proto assualts(amar cal and min(might see a gal instead of cal))
or you see a mix of scouts and assualts.
Or you see 5 proto scouts...
Or you see 5 proto cal scouts sporting 450 shields |
