Make it so you have to manually "decloak" by pressing R1 first before you are able to switch to a weapon. Also, make it so that weapon switches will only be possible once "fully" decloaked on your screen.

That actually seems fair... Except you can switch rediculously fast. And it would be harder to code in.

Not the first to say it, or the fifth, but it does seem to be the most logical way for the cloak delay to work as intended. It being based on the animation at the moment is unfair to certain weapons and does nothing to prevent other weapons from cloak firing.

Sorry, don't like the idea. It means there will be essentially no delay when the server is responsive and a massive delay when it isn't as it won't immediately register your button press. So from the perspective of the 'victim', you will still often get one shotted before the decloak finishes, and from the would-be assassin's perspective, the cloak would be frustratingly variable in responsiveness.
It's better to add in a set timer, as there is at present, as that is less server affected. That way, the victim can be guaranteed a chance to see the assassin, and the assassin knows how long the decloak will take, so frustration is relatively low on both sides. However, the timer needs to be much longer than it is at present. |

Why do i need to press L1 and the R1 if i can be faster just pressing R1. I think the cloack delay needs to be reduced. 1 second is a bit too much
