Ammo pouches that increase reserves I'd be up for, but ammo regen would make nano hives redundant, no?

We already have ammo reserves they just call it a nanohive, and it wouldn't make nanohives redundant because not everyone would use the regen module and it would have to be costly to fit it

My other thought was, what if it was a piece of equipment and it has to be activated to use, lasts for x amount of time and has an appropriate cool down period?

No. Ammo regen just begs for abuse by people that want nothing to do with other people. And it would make nanohives redundant because the people that really need the ammo will just run this module instead of carrying, or hanging around a carrying squadmate, nanohives. We already have enough soloability, don't need more.
That said, an extended ammo cache I can get behind. Have them work like 1.5% at MIL, 2.5% STA, 4% ADV and 7.5% PRO. Maybe. |

No. Just devalues Hives and Logistics. Capacity sure, but regen? Use a hive, it's like a Regen mod that you toss on the ground ^_^

i support. both passive ammo regen and max capacity boosts. i cant tell you how many times ive spent looking for logis when im out of ammo and didnt have a nanohive on me. had to stop everything i was doing and go looking for teammates or a supply depot.
we need about 20-30 more mods as it is to get this game on track with eve parity.
nanohives are already superior armor repairers than a fully fit proto gal assault suit.
if i want to regen ammo passively i should have that option if a logi can do 70-140-210 (or whatever the max number deployed allowed is) armor rep a second with nanohives. it makes armor repairers redundant. yes? okay then.
Don't vote for iron wolf saber.
Vote for someone who will help the community i.e. anyone else.
