Giving vehicles extremely high hep but much smaller self rep? They could stay in the fight longer but would need to retreat to a supply depot or a repair logi for faster reps. I think as a pilot I would want to stay in the fight longer and have to retreat less. Discuss! Pros and cons. I mean really think about it.

Cons: Vehicles will be shoehorned into 1 role(HP Tank) Vehicles will be forced into a singular playstyle. Vehicles are not diverse at all currently and that would only be made worse. Edit:The great aspect of this game is the flexibility in fitting by giving a relatively equal medium to impose their playstyle upon. By removing that aspect vehicles become the worse thing in the game. I mean they're currently terrible but I don't think this is the solution...

How would you suggest fixing the issue then? I keep hearing people go "Oh, after one volley I have to retreat, AV OP NERF NERF NERF" Just trying to create more options to be considered.

I couldn't say how to rework vehicles, my vehicle alt. is too frustrating to play with anymore. I just didn't think your idea would be that good.

Currently in Poky Dravons Vehicle thread were talking about all that sort of stuff especially getting Reps back in the hands of pilots and less passive regen focused.

Shield tanks are pretty much untouchable with hardeners and get to stay in battle for ever. I have used every advanced swarm and AV nades I spawned with to try to take one down and didn't even get through its shields they are completely broken. I then tried to use a FG since it has a better profile verses shields and I got 2 shots off they didn't do anything and he hmg me to death.
I have been in situations with me 2 other swarmers and at our best we got it down to 50% armor, but it healed back up seconds later.
