Jack the Rlpper wrote:Hey kinda in need of help with a decent cqc or father range battle gal assault if anyone could help and please no trolls or negative comments jus recently speced it wanna stick to it for a bit. Just try out fits and see what works best for you. Start with STD, move to ADV, then rig a PRO fit that you like.
I have a STD fit with a STD breach, ADV fit with a GEK, then 3 PRO fits: Duvolle TAR, CreoDron Breach, and yeah, a Krin's, because I have 96 of them. They all have nanohives, but I can't remember the exact fits and I don't want to turn on my PS3.
They have a decent amount of armor balanced with reps, though when using PRO I'd rather have the extra armor over more reps.
What works for someone on here might not work for you.
I may be missing something, but I'm pretty sure that I didn't call for a tank nerf before Uprising 1.7. - Atiim

If you know how to use cover: Rep Tank (For CQC)
2x Complex Plates 1x Complex Reactive 2x Complex Repair
2x Light Damage Mod 1x Basic Shield
Credron Breach AR Proto Ion Pistol M8 Packed Locus
Stats: 230 Shields 707 Armor 26.25 Armor rep a second Sprints at 6.57 Breach AR hits at 83.5 dmg a shot in optimal RAW
For Mid range Assault: Speed/Rep
3x Complex Reactive 1x Complex Repair 1x Complex Kincat
1x Complex Shield 1x Enhanced Shield 1x Complex Light Damage Mod
Duvolle Tactical Proto Ion M1 Locus
Stats: 321 Shields 542 Armor ~23 rep/s Sprints at 8.03 Duvolle hits at 90 dmg a shot in optimal RAW
Notice how they are built.
The CQC fit has more health and repair, but is slower, and only works in areas with good cover, allowing you to use that cover to rep in between bursts of combat. Helps you punish shield tankers, since you constantly rep at 26 hp/s, meaning that you can kill them easier if you just manage to land a shot or two between strafing in and out of cover.
The range fit has less health in armor, but sports a better shield buffer and only loses a bit of rep for it. It is also MUCH faster than the CQC fit, meaning it is best for traversing the battlefield and staying at range. If you have cover to take advantage of, you can pop out and let your shields take the damage as you get some free hits, and then pop back into cover and strafe in and out of cover (Abusing that rep) until he dies, withdraws, or forces you to relocate (Which is easy with that sprint speed).
Hope that helps OP Why locus on an assault? If someone gets in your way or you have a bad throw and you cooked it, you're losing armor. Flux is better in almost all situations, but not every.
