If the PvE drones have the old Railgun AI, we would all immediately be killed on sight.

As seen in one of the old trailers of DUST, I would have to say the Ishukone Assault Forge Guns. There was talk of Large Drones being one of the enemies. Ishukone Forge Guns have the highest AV DPS, I think. Or was it Wiyrkomi Swarms? That is, assuming you can lock onto Drones with Swarm Launchers. Where would the head be for snipers to shoot at? That would have the highest DPS if they had a head to shoot. Or maybe a lolscout dropping REs on them from above. If you had a squad of people doing that while heavies kept the Drones busy below, gg.
The question remains. For weapon-type sakes. If any of the drones are considered vehicles, which? What sort of damage resistance do they get?

If they were, imagine the entire team, using Lai Dai packed grenades. But assuming that Drones aren't vehicles, it would still be really easy for Heavy Forge users to nail the Large Drones.
