I want massive battles on whole planets (or at least continents) not small maps like we have atm.
But that would be pointless with a limit to how many people can be in a fight at a time, it has to be able to support at least 1 thousand mercs in 1 fight, not including all the vehicles that are called in.
Also I want more variations of aircraft, like massive transport aircraft that contain dropships, jets, bombers and RDVs with all the HAVs, LAVs and MAVs that the corporation/alliance has bought or built to be used.
With this, fights would be amazing and organised warfare would be vital, instead of just field commanders and fleet commanders, the battles would have to be set up like how mag ranks were, with platoon leaders, OICs and squad leaders on the ground, with squadron leaders for fleets of dropships/jets following the MCC and vehicle transport, and people in charge of massive tank columns.
This would be amazing to see, especially when the fighting takes place on a whole planet, it would be like planetside 2 on steroids.

This would be amazing to see, especially when the fighting takes place on a whole planet, it would be like planetside 2 on steroids. The maps we have now are bits and pieces divided from the original sized maps. There are 3 maps in Dust divided into the maps we play toady. So the maps are pretty big, they just need to take away the redline and unify them. I know, but even that'snot big enough, when i say big i mean really big, with proper cities, dotted around and factories that are made up of 2-3 sockets each.
It won't just be battles that rely on having the most firepower, but battles that rely on holding the critical locations and using dedicated scanning aircraft to find large groups of enemies, for the OIC to look at and plan the next move in the war there. These battles will probably last for hours but it's not like they would happen often. They would probably only happen in wars between massive alliances, smaller corps and alliances would do similar things but on a smaller scale because they don't have as many people, such as hit and run attacks on another corporations factory in order to steal some of their blueprints and resources, or simply to go on a killing spree.

The PS3 can't do this. i don't want it on ps3, i'm thinking about what could be done on legion.
ps3 can't do anything when it comes to big wars, MAG was the closest game to get there.

But in reality, it was the acknowledgment that Dust514 had greatly deviated from its glorious vision to a cookie cutter lobby shooter; and that CCP would continue to strive to make their vision for Dust514 a reality via EVE:Legion.
I did not spend $50 on F2P game to support a cookie cutter lobby shooter. I spent $50 on CCP because I believed in CCPs vision and ability. Honestly regreting it. I've hung around for 2+ years because of CCP's vision, i would never have started the game if it wasn't for the idea of having massive wars over multiple systems between 2 or more player owned alliances being supplied by a player market.
That right there is why i'm still here
