Please consider the following if this is working as intended. I will be curious to see if you figure out and change what I am talking about.
The current meta allows a player to buy 4.5 Million ISK with a $4.99, 10k AUR pack, by purchasing and reselling very particular items in the store (with Jara Kumora's help of course ). An equivalent number of these items would be valued at 51000 LP from the faction store. If a player player bought 12k AUR to stack 3 one month faction boosters (earning a minimum 2500 LP per match), this player could amass the needed 51k LP amount in 20 FW wins.
An FW match will take anywhere from 35 minutes to an 50 minutes to complete with disparities in queue times, war barge wait, and match time. Assuming worst case scenario this would take a player 16 hours to grind. These times improve as players rise in FW rank.
I understand you have nerfed the sell back prices of various items pre release to 1.9. I am curious if you will nerf further or address disparity in the value of AUR pricing to an ISK equivalent.
P.S. As a side note, current escrow agents such as Kain Spero or Gyn Wallace who trade EVE isk for Dust ISK have historically offered much stronger exchange rates than buy ISK in Dust. It is much more economically sensible to buy and sell a plex in EVE. These rates will change as traditional passive income sources from Planetary Conquest or farming alt accounts begin to dwindle at some point in the future (it will take a while).
P.P.S. Bonus points for the first person that guesses which items gives you the best (current) sell back value. Yep, we're going to spoil the fun.

If you're at a loss for what the magic item is, dive into the Item Codex if you don't have access to your PS3 and search for something expensive.

NextDark Knight wrote:Really. Only 4 Million for 5 dollars.. You know 5 dollars gets you 200 million in eve That's why I said it's better to buy it in EVE then go through an exchange service to bring it Dust side.
Also the amount gained will be worse if CCP becomes wise and reduces the isk value of these special AUR items, which have so far avoided the market nerf bat.

You know 5 dollars gets you 200 million in eve in eve you can get 30m+ isk for 20 to 30 mins work so the cost is vastly different vs dust. ps. atleast we know who RMT's now in here.. hint.. its you. I think he means the equivalent in plex, which is about to 900m right now. He didn't infer, buy this paperclip for $5 and get complimentary 200 m ISK.
Also Za'ki, I'm taking about buying ISK with AUR items, not getting AUR in an ISK sink although the idea is interesting, but very exploitable and harmful to CCP's bottom line.

50 million ISK now. So pony up a little over $55 and you've bought one clone pack. Be the whale you've always wanted to be.

that way theres no massive grind for those apex fits. That would need to entail an ISK or full assets reset first. Are you fine with that?

Supernus Gigas wrote:Well after spending like 20 minutes trying to figured out what it was, and then being wrong, and then eating a sandwich and some cream puffs, I think I got it.
I almost thought I stumbled onto something worth even more ISK for the AUR, but when I go to sell the 'Remnant IX' Logi mk.0 I get ISK only for the dropsuit itself and none of it's attached items.
Which is good, cause that'd be around 6.3 million ISK for 10K Aurum if you got the ISK value of everything on the' Remnant IX' Logi.
After looking around a bit more I realized it's so much simpler. It's Prototype Large Vehicle Turrets.
10K Aurum at 300 Aurum per turret gets you 33 turrets.
33 * 281,955 ISK per turret = 9,304,515 ISK
9,304,515 ISK * .50 max re-sell rate = 4,652,257 ISK
EDIT: Well now I look stupid, I swear I figured it all out before that extremely subtle hint. I started making the reply before they were there, I swear on me mum. Not quite, but your reply is good enough for government ISK. I'll send it on latter tonight.
Think Smaller.
10K Aurum at 100 Aurum per turret gets you 100 turrets Small Prototype Vehicle Turrets. Base Turret Price = 105,735 ISK
100 * 105,735 ISK = 10,573,500 ISK
10,573,500 *.50 max re-sell = 5,286,750 ISK
Oops. My initial math was wrong.

Hakyou Brutor wrote:Well, I know the second question... but I really don't see the first question... all I see is a ton of text in which no questions were asked. Yeah, it's kind of a word vomit. I am making an observation that if a player wants to buy ISK by purchasing and selling AUR weapons, the best way to go is buying Small Prototype Turrets. It appears CCP tried to preemptively reduce people's ability to buy ISK by cutting the ISK value of AUR Weapons and Dropsuits in half (before selling them back)
Take for example the base price values of these regular and aur variant items. This is all from the SDE.
Scout ck.0 = 57690 ISK 'Neo' Scout ck.0 = 35250 ISK; sold for 50 AUR
Ishukone Assault Rail Rifle = 47220 ISK 'Crawtide' Ishukone Assault Rail Rifle = 28845 ISK
20GJ Particle Cannon = 74015 ISK 'Martyr' 20GJ Particle Cannon = 105735 ISK; sold for 100 AUR Federation 20GJ Ion Cannon = 105735 ISK; sold for 510 LP + ISK
We can see that the price of the normal variant is less than either the AUR or LP equivalent. Besides being a bug and correction that CCP didn't get to it leads me to ask the questions, does CCP want players to be able to buy ISK by with the use of AUR items? and How much do they want players to be able to get out of these transactions by pumping money directly into the game?

I may have mixed this up, but how much is the LP cost of those turrets? (I'm away from PS3 at the moment) They cost 150lp and 7,200 ISK Okay, had a chance to check those out.
[Standard] Federation 80GJ blaster level large turret. -Full ISK = 64,305 ISK -Cost: 150 LP + 7,200 ISK
[Proto] Federation 80GJ Ion Cannon. -Full ISK = 281,955 -Cost: 1105 LP + 66,360 ISK
However, I noticed something on the Caldari Loyalty Market which shows you LP prices are broken
[Proto] State XT-201 Missile Launcher Full ISK = 281,955 Cost: 535 LP + 66,360 ISK
After running the math the difference in return for selling [Proto] Caldari turrets is about 500k more than selling [STD] Gallente Blaster Turrets. If you can organize squads to win Caldari faction matches you stand the most to gain from item sell back currently as a Caldari player. Turrets are the best things to sell right now.
