It has been stated that once the rotation of APEX suits are over Rattati will look into more Faction and lore appropriate suits.
I'll make suggestions for the Gallente, because that's what I know best. But please, fellow Role players and knowledgable people of EVE lore. Give your input on color schemes you'd like to see on suits.
This post will be talking about various ways to change color in this game that should have been here from the start.
The second will be about changes that are optional for the player to choose but I guarantee you we would most definitely buy them.
First things first.
The Prototype weapons all being the same color, black, is cringe worthy. Yes, black is sexy but damn when everything is black it's not so sexy anymore.
The prototype weapons should be the color scheme of the company that manufactures it.
I'll just make a list of what color scheme goes with which company. Correct me if I mess up the other races schemes by the way.
Gallente DUST 514 weapon manufactures:
Duvolle: Dark Faded Brown and Grey
Creodron - Metallic Medium Green, grey and black.
Allotek (which is actually Roden Shipyards) - can be anything you want since it doesn't have much of a presence in EVE. I'd like to have be silver and blue/green. Allotek just seems to have that future feel to it.
Amarr Corporations:
Carthum (Which was formed with the help of the Caldari Lai Dai ) - No clue, not much EVE presence
Imperial - Black and a Grey-tanish color.
Viziam - Gunmetal Grey and Silver I guess?
Caldari Corporations:
Kaalakiota - Black, Gunmetal silver, Accents of Red.
Ishukone - Desert yellow fading into black. (probably the coolest color scheme in New Eden)
Lai Dai - Tan, Silver and Black
Wiyrkomi - Blue, Silver and White.
Minmatar Corporations:
Boundless - Brown, Orange and white. (not a lot of Data)
Six Kin - Pretty Much what the Shaaman APEX suit is now but less reflective.
Core - Bronze, Brown, Black
Freedom Extension (AKA Freedom. Is allied heavily with Gallente and Minmatar having being formed by Minmatar Refugees who went to the Federation for sanctuary but returned to their homeland once things cleared up) - Freedom would be Brown, Green and white with Gold Accents.
These are the colors that I think should go on the Prototype weapons instead of being all the same drab black color.
Now onto the suits. It's pretty simple actually. I'd like to buy some suit skins that go along with a corporation or a Faction that's fitting to them.
Examples: Duvolle Assault Suit, Duvolle Scout Suit, Allotek Commando Suit, Creodron Logistics suit Creodron Sentinel suit.
All of those suits with the appropriate Corporation color to them would give you guys a good amount of money coming in. Imagine a Kaalakiota Caldari Assault in the Corporation colors, imagine a intimidating Duvolle Gallente Assault suit! In fact, I know I'd for sure by an entire Line of Gallente Corporation suits.
Specialty suits just for fun and Flare while being lore appropriate could be:
Gallente - "Innerzone Shipping Corporation". Which rocks a sweet burnt yellow and black scheme.
Amarr - "Tash-Murkon" which rocks an intimidating red and black scheme.
Caldari - I honestly don't have anything. Come up with something somebody.
Minmatar - "Justice Department" Green, black and silver. Actually somewhat normal colors...which is not normal for Minmatar :p
GASP....An Ishukone Sentinel suit......the thought of that is too damn sexy.
CCP holds the Caldari's hand so this doesn't happen again.
