Mechanics reasons. Some people were literally being blinded by the Quafe's sheer awesome and lost fights because of it. Not even joking. Some people were just so shiny everyone noticed them and murdered 'em.

The later part is the price you pay for style but the former defeats the purpose of running around as a walking advertisement.

I know they've been like this for a while now, but I'm kind of surprised this hasn't gotten more attention.

All the Quafe BPOs are no longer fabulously shiny. Why?

They were great before! I loved running around in my super shiny pink Minnie Sentinel, which wasn't for very long as they were some of the last released Quafe suits.

But now they're all dull and dark and not as fabulous, and unless you're really looking you can't really tell someone's running a Quafe.

I can hardly even tell I'm wearing my Quafe suit in first person seeing as almost all of the color was taken off of the arms, where as before my screen was full of glorious pink shininess.

Besides being a BPO, their exorbitant fabulous factor was a main selling point, so why take it away?

I almost feel cheated out of buying my Quafe Minmatar Sentinel. If it was this dull and colorless when it was put on market, I most likely wouldn't have bought it.

I understand if the majority of the community wanted it toned down, but it seemed like everyone who bought it embraced the wonderful pink shine.

Come on CCP, bring back the bling.
