Do any of you notice something? It's telling. Look at the color schemes of the Apex suits.
They are all crossfactional colors. As in they are like pirate and bloodline oriented. The Amarr has a Caldari gray camo pattern mixed with the Amarr gold and a hint of black.
Anybody that plays EVE recognize that as Khanid? The shield fitting proves what I was already thinking. Khanid are Amarr with Cal tech thrown in.
The Minmatar suit is gold and looks a bit reddish (not sure, I'm colorblind and looking at a poor screen). Guess who? If it is running armor over shields then it is Amatar.
The other two suits could represent pirate factions. In EVE, pirate faction ships are a hybrid mix of two main factions.
Sure, technically the pirates use their own ship designs, but heyGǪ Legion?
Could this be a one time lark from the devs to be cute or is this the beginning of pirate and bloodline aurum variants? I've been thinking they should do that if they want non-bpo suits that people would pay money to use.
Imagine a Khanid suit GÇô an Amarr suit with swarm bonus!

You do not fit Khanid ships with shield Tech unless you are asking for your (20 M ISK Vengeance or 120M ISK Sacrilege) to die in a fiery explosion.
However Khanid Content in Dust would be cool, amarr EHP Missile HAV? YES PLEASE!
Hell someone might even set up a Cyberknights corp.

Not saying it has to be literally comparable to EVE, but for what they can do, or would want to within DUST this is a start.
