I don't have a large amount based off some of the numbers I have seen but I seem to have a fair bit more than other smaller cashed people. I got it through running Standard Quality suits and not running Advanced and Prototype suits. When I see posts about how little isk people have or "there isn't enough isk payout for me to run my suits!" I just feel like getting that Neo-Con scowl and saying "go f*** yerselves!" (Hilarious considering that is not me IRL)
If my terrible lack of skill self (seriously, I am just passingly competent by my own recollection) was able to get to a 'decent' amount of cash from running frugal suits and only recently calculating that I have a large enough nest egg to run Prototype gear for as long as my interest will be kept in this game, anyone else should be able to.
Raven BPO Assault with Complex and Enhanced Shield Extenders, Basic Plate, Basic Locus Grenade, Combat Nanohive, BPO SMG, and a Basic Rail Rifle. Costs like 11k with BPO, 15,285 without BPO. 795 EHP, don't die 10 times to get a profit in a game.

xavier zor wrote: Proto users know how to have a KD ratio of 20 every match, and have great gun game That is a bit of a stretch actually. Saying "Proto users go 20:1 every match" is like saying "H2O is always a liquid." In truth, it can be a couple of things. If you are at the top of the WP charts, pull in about 250k a match, even dying 3 times with a suit that is worth 100k only burns 50k. If you have 20 million isk saved up, you can go 400 games in a row like that. Or you can be like others that have Econ Weeks where they will specifically use Basic level gear to recuperate some cash. You can reduce the cost substantially by using a Prototype Suit but only Advanced weapons as the Suit is a far more efficient way to spend cash compared to a Prototype Weapon over Advanced.
There are far too many players with over 15 million SP (more than enough to be really Prototype in a single role) to make a blanket statement that Proto players are just "good at the game." When there is a large group, some will be great, others good, large chunk of them will be bad with deep pockets, but the vast majority are just going to be people that I would associate myself with if I had a bit of ego: competent on a good day and smart enough to know not to play on a bad day.
