why not make the magsec a LW make it a touch more powerful so it clearly less than rifles but fits that role between a between assault battle rifles/ sub machine guns/ hand guns? |

I see why you believe this. I have thought if it but it would really be so good. It's good just as it is.

Nah. What we need is a Burst Rail Rifle. It would have less range than the other RRs but would restart from min recoil with each burst, so it would be better in CQC, though requiring good timing.
3 round bursts
Charge: 0.3
Recoil: 0.1
Effective Range: 87m
Damage: Toned to balance |

I agree, there should be 5 weapon class.
Pistols, SMG, Rifles, Support weapons and heavy weapons.

On reflection, I think the Smg should be reclassified as a LW with a very slight buff too |
