Really needs a hip fire nerf.
It's way too accurate, even at medium range. The fact that it has an aiming mode baffles me. What the hell is it even here in the first place? The aiming mode is just not needed with the current HMG hip fire now.
Make it's aiming mode viable by making it as accurate as the HMG hip fire right now, while the hip fire should be S.H.I.T except at short ranges( at 5-10 metres)

It's already in line for a nerf.
and try using it sometime on a scout or assault who knows what they're doing. You learn how to avoid HMG fire by shooting at people like that.
EVE Online is what you get when engineers attempt to create "fun" without consulting someone who comprehends the word.

Please nerf. I preferred it when the HMG was absolute crap, Dust was 10x more fun when there weren't 14 heavies on each team every game. |

I used a heavy suit a couple of days ago and found that I needed to both duck and hold the aim button to best people just out of close quarters range. It's really not that accurate at any non-trivial range. I guess it wouldn't make that big a difference if you only decrease the hip fire accuracy more.
If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

I don't know about that , it seems like the focus is better and more precise when you aim .
That might just me be though .

it clears your right peripheral view so you can get a better picture to your right side.
