If by "normal" you mean "totally not worth it" then yes.
I'm pretty loaded (1.27 billion) but without good payouts from pubs I find it much more worthwhile to rubberband my controller and afk farm while doing other things I actually ENJOY.
The high payouts made me feel a lot better about every single death on that day. Sure, I grumbled a little, but wasn't in "quit match during first death bleedout to save the suit" mode for a change.
Case in point, yesterday I played a Skirmish where I went 33/4, but still went isk-negative thanks to those 4 deaths costing 700k total (match payout was 350k), killing all motivation for me to actually put in any effort whatsoever into Dust.
Customer support ignoring (unrelated to this) tickets doesn't exactly make me feel any better about the game either. |
