 As stated here in this PSU interview with CCP Rattati and CCP Rouge.
 
 [Question.] In past updates, certain vehicles and vehicle modules were added and then removed due to balancing issues, for example, the Logi Varient of the LAV and dropship, Black Ops HAVs and remote repair modules. Are there still plans on their reintroduction?
 
 CCP Rattati: Yes, most certainly. Players who have been involved in the hotfix dialogue will be very aware of the spirited and often heated Anti-Vehicle vs Vehicle and Vehicle vs Vehicle debates. We are closer to balancing these primary roles than we have ever been. When we are relatively happy with that balance and data is showing that they all have a relevant role in the battlegrounds, we are more than willing to add more. Adding more into an imbalance is not an option.
 
 That's some pretty awesome news to hear! I would love to see the return of logistics vehicles and even some of our old favourite tanks. This is something I am sure the community would love =D

 That is a whole hell of a lot different than "reintroduction confimred!" That is a "when we finally have a role for vehicles and the non-standard ones are different enough from the standard ones, we are willing to add more (not that we WILL add more)."
 
 At the moment, it is in the same exact state as "Player investment will transfer over to Legion." How? "We don't know but we want to."

 Agreed, however "Yes, most certainly" and "we are more than willing to add more" is very promising stuff to be honest. They dont usually go out and say this sort of thing if they are not at least thinking about it.
 
 It would also add a lot of bang for the 'buck' so to speak.
 
 @ Adamance. We know you and many others including myself would love Amarr and Minmatar vehicles, all I am saying is these assets have already been made and are buried in the game. This is something a lot more attainable than creating new assets and models from scratch.
 
 To be honest I am just as interested in LOGI vehicles as I am marauders / black ops tanks etc.... possibly more so!

 Hopefully after reintroducing the old vehicles, I want Ratatti to surprise us for the Minmatar and Amarr variants.

 If by this point they have not created the models from the rest of the racial groups that is a poor show.

 Needs to be the other way around.
 
 Bring in all Standard Racial Vehicles. Determine and rebalance roles. Then bring in Specialist HAV.

 I would love this honestly. If CCP need help financially to get this type of thing made a reality they could consider a sort of crowdsourcing event for the community? Persuade people to buy aurum, spend aurum, donate etc....

 Alot of the problems with the variant vehicles was that they were designed like the variant dropsuits. Works great for dropsuits, but with the vastly higher survivability of the vehicles it made for some broken fits. Especially the LAVs. Logistics LAVs were like small super-sport HAVs, hard as hell to kill and even harder to avoid when they were really going. Oddly, the logistics dropship wasn't any harder to kill than a normal dropship, though their ability to run away and regen back up made them just as survivable. Scout variants were rarely used because there was little reason to when you could spend the same SP and drive the much superior logistics variants.

 In terms of infantry? - The plasma cannon is the anti shield AV. It molests shield tanks when you have good skills with the PLC. If you are using an Allotek PLC with a high level in the reloading skill, you can drop a shot in the back of a shield tank and be ready to fire again while the tank driver is wondering what hit him.

 The "debate" is mostly rattati, soraya, atiim and a few others ground pounders against virtually the entire ADS community, Judge Rhadamanthus especially being given a rough time. Its never been "here's the data to show how unstoppable the ADS is lets talk about it" just "you're OP you shoot down RDVs!" I" will nerf without feedback" and 'your feedback is irellevant with numbers (which we don't have acess to)...I'm hardly paraphrasing, this came from rattati himself.
 
 Oddly enough when the isk payouts were so big in 1.9 it was alot more fun and i was willing to risk far more in my Drpopsip because i could afford to lose one per match, instead of playing it as safe as possible, which leads to the standard "no matter what don't lose 1 ADS every 4 games because low isk payout" which in turn leads to the B.S. claims that "you ran away you're OP" and "ermagerd a postive K/S ratio must nerf".

 Agreed, the higher payouts made for better battles, that is unquestionable.
 
 I don't want to get wound up in an ADS vs AV debate again but I do find it odd that when an ADS pilot goes 10/0 maybe 20/0 on a good day, people scream bloody mary. Yet REGULARLY I see proto sentinels, proto scouts, hell even the odd assaults go 30/0 44/0, 46/1 etc......

 but it'll probably wait until after they fix all the issues with vehicles vs AV...
 
 oh, and as for moar anti-shield AV...give the LR bonus damage against vehicles...
 
 Khanid Logi and Tanker, sometimes AV Heavy or Sniper.

 No, hopefully they push through the Minmatar/Amarr vehicles and then reintroduce the old vehicles.
