In the order you ask:
See the starmap or dustreports.
No, NS did not give everything away, they still own a large chunk on Asia timers.
We took our districts.
Tso's is probably #1.
And you are still full of ****.

If you had been around, you'd know I speak the truth.
But if you sleep better painting us into a box, you are free to believe whatever you wish.
Go rally your boys, throw your ISK around, and attack us and find out. I dare you, and we never shy away from good fights -- win or lose.
Many corps, including your own, have come and gone. Yet here we still stand.
We didn't quit when our exploits were taken away. We didn't quit when we lost matches to those we considered ourselves superior to. We didn't quit when we driven out of MH. We continued to fight, we continued to learn, and here we stand.
Come get some. |

I was right here the entire time.
Keep thinking you had the best FCs and mediocre talent. I cannot control what you think.
I'm not calling anyone out, but I can speak my mind, as I have always done. |

I'm not calling anyone out, but I can speak my mind, as I have always done. Exactly, you were right here, watching..lol... We did have the best FC's. THe post has been here before and hands down it was Kujo/Soul top "vote getters" you could call it. I was there though. I've taken the beatings with them time and time again only to flip it on the enemy when they least suspected it. Sorry Lead. ML has been around for awhile. I'll give you that. Relevancy though, minimal at best. Yes you won some matches, yes you flipped some districts. If you think anyone ever shuddered when they saw ML in the battle list you have lost your mind. AE. and a few other corps actually had that type of response. You knew going into a battle against us that winning would not be an option and all you could hope for was a "GG" from Rampy and holding Ari to under 30 melee kills lol..
Did I ever say we were any where on the "relevancy list"? Those are your words, not mine.
I've always known and been honest about our place in the competitive battlefield. I was in those beatdowns, and I remember them well.
You were the one who tried to insult us and disputed what I said about us taking districts. I only corrected you.
Rampy quit after we beat him. Threatened to come back, but never did.
Egos, it seems, are delicate, and apparently losing to the "irrelevant" is hard on morale.
It's easy to lead from the front of the pack. Not so easy when you're losing. Anyone can lead a bunch of allstars and glitchers when they roll over the compeition. It takes a very different type of leader to overcome obstacles with less talent and outlast them all. I know which type of leader I admire more. |

Did I ever say he was a leader? Again, those are your words, not mine, and you brought him into the discussion, not me. There's no need to put words in my mouth.
If you want to know what I think about Rampage, I think he was barely better than me as a player, and that isn't saying much. lol But he'll never be half the leader Hawk is or I am, at least in my eyes, for the reasons outlined above.
However, I remember, very clearly, the teams that beat us including a hodge podge of allstars -- AE and others. I think I still have the screenshots. lol
Thank you for the correction about using the plural of glitcher, as far as I know Ari was the only one to successfully pull it off and dominate. My mistake. That doesn't change how your "leaders" condoned his exploting.
And while we may have lost back then, we're not losing so much any more.
I suppose that happens when the "best FCs" and best players leave the game....
...or maybe we just got better and the SP gap that was so prevalent then isn't as wide as it is now. And it's disappointing to me that we may never find out. |

I do, every day. Thanks.
For such a "POS game", you (and others) sure like to come back and tell us how good you once were playing it.
So you are free to go now with your ego still intact.
Don't let the door hit you in the ass. |

Did I need to include "forum" in order to make my intent clear? I suppose so.
I never said I was good -- to the contrary, I know I'm not compared to many, and admit it freely. I only said I was a good leader and about as good of a player, relative to Rampage, and in my own eyes. Can you read?
IMO, you didn't "earn" anything -- and I lost plenty of clones and just as much sleep as anyone, and arguably over a much longer period. What separates us, if I may be so bold, is that I never jumped ship to the A team, but rather remained true to the core group of guys I met when I started playing this game. Call me what you wish, but I'm loyal like that.
Don't you have anything better to do than post on a forum for a game that you describe as a POS and admit not to play any more or care about?
Or do you secretly yearn for days gone by (after KEQ, I presume) when you had a place at the table playing this "POS game"?
I know what I believe, but please, tell me more of what you think. This is starting to become amusing. |

This is starting to become amusing. your comment, "Or maybe we just got better and the SP gap that was so prevalent then isn't as wide as it is now. Didn't earn anything? lol....sure thing pal..just as you have not. Not even respect. I never jumped ship to the A-team. There were 19 people in AE(no dot) when I went over. We had no corp wallet(except what was stolen from Hellstorm I think) and didn't own not one district. We fought for them which is something I know you are not familiar with. to be honest, no, I really don't have anything better to do between the hourse of 5am est-5pm est but post here. Work is that EASY. Sort of like PC against ML, but not quite that easy..see what I did there? I won't try and change your mind, believe what you wish. It's obvious that you were bored. You jumped on this like Roman on Kains ****. Again, good luck with this POS game.
I guess you missed the word "maybe" and the question mark at the end. You know, those things that signify a question rather than a statement.
If beating someone in a video game is how one earns respect in your world, I say you live a very shallow life and I don't want your respect, nor do I ask for it. But I will speak the truth:
We fought for our districts just like you did, as hard of a time as you might have believing that. And our best player never glitched to win, either.
But you're right, I am bored. I want better fights. I want this game to be successful, as I enjoy playing it.
Hell, I'll even troll you on a Friday afternoon if it'll help.... |

Many corps, including your own, have come and gone. Yet here we still stand.
We didn't quit when our exploits were taken away. We didn't quit when we lost matches to those we considered ourselves superior to. We didn't quit when we driven out of MH. We didn't quit after fanfest. We didn't quit after Destiny. We continued to fight, we continued to learn, and here we stand.
Come get some. I suppose no showing 90% of the fights you think you can't win doesn't count as shying away. Seriously you guys put up good fights when you decided to try, the issue was you not actually bothering to join the game, not how well you played. Btw AE left on a high note having played a key role in defeating ERA and bringing anarchy back to at least half of MH, as well as giving ALL of our districts away to PC ready indie corps, not 7 months earlier when the melee exploit was fixed, not out of shame and defeat. We left because there was no one left that we didn't know we could beat, and fanfest only accelerated that process. Also what did you continue to learn? That no showing serves no purpose when the corps you thought you could not beat all left? Good for you guys.
It does count as shying away, cheater. It also counts towards preserving morale, which is primarily why we did it. Sometimes a retreat, as hard as it may be, is the right thing to do. It was not an easy decision.
The bottom line is you guys were clearly better than us, and our morale was suffering in losing over and over and over again to the same group of guys. So we made the decision to no show a few fights (I don't recall how many, perhaps you do), and bide our time.
And we are still one of the largest and longest lasting corps in this game -- we must be doing something right.

Arirana wrote: I was calling out leadfoot on a statement about ML that is obviously not true. First he's saying ML will never shy away from a good fight, then he did a complete 180 and starts explaining how bowing away from a challenge is good for moral.
Except, cheater, I never said we "never shy away from a good fight". Those are your words, not mine.
Here's what I said:
"We didn't quit when our exploits were taken away. We didn't quit when we lost matches to those we considered ourselves superior to. We didn't quit when we driven out of MH. We didn't quit after fanfest. We didn't quit after Destiny. We continued to fight, we continued to learn, and here we stand."
And it is entirely accurate. We didn't quit. We are still here, and active to this day.
Now, you chose to take that comment and point to our no-showing some battles as proof we did quit. I contend no-showing battles is not quitting (what you described as a "complete 180"), but I can see how you might interpret it that way -- thus my clarification.
But you are right, we no-showed a few battles. I do not recall how many -- and I'm not sure what your "90%" is supposed to mean -- but I don't think it was many. Perhaps someone else does.
When you called me on it -- and described our no shows -- I admitted it and even told you why we did. I'm not here to mis-characterize anything. I'm not here to hide from the truth.
If you speak it, I will acknowledge it. If you don't, I will clarify my perspective.
Because I am proud of my friends and our team and our leadership and our accomplishments. We were never the best players in this game, and we make no illusions about our skills or accomplishments. However, I believe It is an accomplishment to have lasted this long in the face of adversity -- both in the form of other corps but also CCP.
How many people/corps can say the same?
Not you. Not bigolenuts. Not AE. |
