This is an interesting idea but as an A/V guy, I'm not in favor.
Controlling the supply depot is a huge tactical advantage, and the ability to switch suits/gear is a big part of it. I'd rather see teams develop tactics to cope with these advantages, not remove the advantage. For instance, how about having your blues capture the supply depot before you go near it? Or how about blowing it up first?
I know if the reds' have a supply depot and I can't get to it, I will try to blow it up. Now watcha' gonna do, reds?

Sure no problem then i propose that tankers take 5 seconds before getting out of their tank. when at 1/2 armor so you can just jump out right before your tank goes boom or even a quick time event would be cool i think

I think AV should tie into the Vehicle limit... Make teams chose between Vehicle or AV... This wouldn't change a lot, because most pubs have 1 guy dedicated vehicle and av anyway... Just means the guy running 2 swarm launchers while in a tank counts for 3 to the limit.
Would add more strategy to getting the right team balance instead of just, vehicle on the field all 6 squadies change to swarms and kill you before you even see a missile (they still don't sync up or render all the time.)
Also gives multiple turret vehicles a purpose as you wouldn't want your whole limit taken up by vehicles... Or vice versa.
You can still outnumber the 1 tank, but not if everyone meets the limits (as they should, but rarely do... Instead they just complain about getting stomped by vehicles, rather than the obvious flaw, being the lack of vehicles on their own team.) |

Biggest problem here is that the depot is exploitable: switch to sentinels, spray bullets, step back, switch to new suit, spray bullets, step back, switch suits...
It's irrelevant whether we're talking about AV or just switching suits in general: it's exploitable and removes certain elements of skill from gameplay.

As a pilot, I wholeheartedly agree: with LAVs and DSs passengers should have a shorter wait time, but LAV/HAV/DS pilots should all have a good 3-5s wait when trying to get out.

It's actually bugged and when you switch suits, you lose them now.
Or
It's bugged and the delay timer goes negative, effectively locking you out of the Supply Depot for the rest of the battle.
Or
The health of your suit is not being read properly, causing you to be unable to switch suits at all for the entire battle.
Also
Because of these changes, ammo resupply was bugged and now it give you 1 bullet per 20 seconds.

What next u cant use the cru to spawn av builds. It is fiar the way it is i can take a guy runing to the sd before he gets a taste

You can't argue that this is an exploit, you just can't. SD needs a fix.
