LMFAO
Preface: I've been playing Gallente scout for a long time. My fit always consists of Range Amplifiers and Precision Enhancers. That leaves me little to none shields/armor. But I can SEE!
Though yesterday, I got pissed off having so little tank buffer that whenever somebody even looked at me, I was down. Ok, change to Assault... Blap. Commando? BLAP BLAP.
And then I went and made double dampened, cloaked shotgun scout, which, I have really never before played with truly.
No SP at all in shotguns, mind you. No matter. Militia shotgun to the face gives the hurt really nicely.
It was stupidly easy just to run to the reds and blam away.
LOL I say.
If you can't win em...
No but really, even for me, who is not the greatest player (but luckily I've been here long enough to have SP) it was eye-opening.
Nobody sees you, you're fast as hell, your alpha damage is greater than mule kick in the nuts. Where's the downside?
OH I KNOW! 'But but you sacrifice HP tank for damps/speed...' Yeah I know, but you don't need it when nobody can see you.

I agree with you on all points, and when I tried a cloaked and dampened SG scout I felt kind of cheap. Kind of the way I do when I use REs.
I've been waiting for the nerfhammer to be applied. Alas, it's not happened yet. |

Cloaked scouts w/ shotty has been confirmed OP While I run as a no cloaked light frame w/ shotty... still equally OP if you have the skill, like yours truly (I played on highlands 24/0 with that fit. Scouts with shotty confirmed OP also 123 likes (1 - 2 - 3 :p)

I feel cheap and dirty when I strap on a scout suit and I don't shotgun and I don't cloak.
If I go 30-0 in a scout suit it's not even satisfying, when I do that in an assault suit it's pure joy. |

They are not exactly op by themselves the speed, jump, ewar of a scout make them a i win button. My first week playing I was going like 14/2 with the combo it is completely skill less. I want so much for ccp to make scouts side arm only the tears would be amazing when all of the scrubs have to learn to play. Not to mention the game would have real fire fights.
Check out the film Flame and Citron it is amazing! Wizard Talk

You think the shotgun hits hard, you should try the plasma cannon. Although if you miss with the PLC you are a lot more in the **** than you are with a shotgun as with the shotgun you have 7 more rounds to go....
(hence why I hope I can get my hands on some dual shot plasmas in a couple of weeks for that event :D )

I'm really unfamiliar with the PLC but I've seen the devastation you can have with that.
BTW, F U and your Plasmascout couple of days back. How many kin cats do you fit? You were unbelievably fast and sneaky.
I'm thinking not even fitting a cloak after two damps, it seems people are really blind to you anyway. Also points in SG and there we go. Ridiculous.

You move to fast most of the time in cqc and your first shot is a kill. Yall need to take your scouts and play the roll correctly.

A level 1 scout with 1 mlt damp and an mlt shotgun has the advantage over pretty much anything in the game.
Work it out.
