No. An caldari hmg would be like a larger magsec. Thats my prediction but it'll never happen

EWWWWWWWWW reusing in game assets to patch an issue that has arisen the lacking racial parity. Unfortunately this happens to be something I am rather passionate about.... While I appreciated the attempt to alleviate for the stresses and lack of content features I have to oppose the inclusion of half assed content features and band aid patch mentalities. The Minmatar and more so the Amarr have been under represented in this game for far too long, I feel that allowing CCP to "patch" the issue would be encouraging them be lazy in the development of the assets themselves that should have been included in the game. I see no reason why the Amarr and Minmatar players should expect or accept anything less than fair representation and attention to detail in those assets. CCP Rattati asked me himself the other day in his thread about FW racial fittings if I would prefer place holders or would wait for the real thing......and honestly personally I would rather wait for the real thing. Then the Burst MD, i'd still be fine seeing that perform no different than a MD with a 3shot burst, 6 shot clip and having reduced damage potential. Thats my prediction but it'll never happen If we were to have custom made assets and stuff- but the OP was about filling in those gaps(even in a terrible way) with existing racial weaponry. The Burst Forge Gun would still be a normal forge, but it would fire 3 rounds in rapid succession to almost/maybe give Cal Heavies their "long range heavy AI weapon". due to the potential spread, and the rapidfire capability, you could reliably snipe a Sentinel from 50-70 meters with all 3 shots hitting, but past that it would be AV only.
