Stupidest suggestion ever. Simply limit scouts to sidearms ONLY. Instant fix. No more cloak shotguns to the back.

Same problem we had with the Logistics for the longest time.''This honor should be reserved for the SKILLED player. Not to the one that just USES a specific suit. Also, take into consideration that MANY scouts are old school players. Its funny that some people think that because they have 15-20 million and an assault suit they should be able to win 1 vs 1 ,100% of the time against people like me in a scout suit....with 40+million sp and a shi*ton of experience... PS: People saying Ewar is the issue? I dont even have to Ewar anymore considering the amount of active scanners used XD Speed tanking is useless now. So i have 2 types of scouts left. Dampened or tanked. Thanks CCP

Screw the delay, take away their light weapon slot and replace it with a sidearm. That'll punish any scout that dares attempt to attack anyone else in a brazen frontal assault.

I don't even see the problems with the cloak besides being able to fire while cloaked as well as laying RE's .
Maybe a profile change to encourage more e-war usage instead of just being somewhat invisible right when you put the suit on and I say somewhat because you can see them with you eyes ( sometimes ) but having e-war benefits that warrant the user to not even invest in the method but reap the benefit , now that's something that needs to change .
I see you real scouts in the forums and the pubs on occasions but I just can't believe that so many people have their e-war skills maxed out .
A lot of these characters are alts and that's just hard to believe , either alts or new players but it's all the same .
I have been seeing a lot of scouts and light suits every match that I play .
Thank you Rattati , the DEV crew and the CPM for getting the job of 1.9 done .

If thats what you read, Id recommend participating in a 2nd Grade class instead of trying to contribute to this online forum.

Thats true. It is rather unfair of me.
However, in his defense, from a completely objective and non-biased standpoint, his post was much more fact-oriented, much less emotionally affected, and had a logical and coherent flow to it, as well as being generally much more rational.
From a biased standpoint that I will obviously have, I completely agree with him on it, and legitimately believe that his point of view is correct.
This being said, you should both participate in a 2nd Grade class

I would say HP and be done with it, but I can't say that one with a straight face.

Yup. Small hitbox and faster strafing make scouts take just as long to kill in a 1v1 as a Sentinel.
It doesn't matter that you only have -+ of their HP when your hitbox is half the size and you move 2x faster...

About Cloaked scouts? No.
About the Scout suit in general? yes
It sacrifices very little to have:
The best dampening
The best scanning
The best speed
A smaller hitbox
An extra equipment slot
The only thing they sacrifice is HP which you can simply add up. And still staying with all that I mentioned above.
If you think the nerf to the cloak was a nerf to the scout. Then you are a bad scout.
A good scout doesn't use/need cloak to perform well.
If you were at the mercy of the cloak, then I am glad the nerf came when it did.
