Please note, I'm Rank 9 with just over $230 into the game. I don't like the idea that my $230 means a LOT more to CCP than countless hours, logins, and helping the community on the forums.

Long story made short. Read this post. Is this working as intended? The Loyalty grind is insane right now, with almost no way to gain it decently short of AURUM. Is this working as intended? Because right now it seems like the only way to hit max rank is to throw money at this game. If it takes roughly 5k hours of playtime (More than 4x what I have right now, and I've been here since Uprising), just to go from 9 to 10, how long will it concievably take to get from 12 to 13? Or even higher? In short: There seems to be a problem with how Loyalty is calculated from battles. Either that, or you have made the rate of progression far to slow for anyone who doesn't buy $20 of Aurum every 2-3 weeks. Is this working as intended? Can this be up for review if not?
