i got a copy/paste of it from when i mailed a corp mate too thankfully. i can't believ they snekily edited the devblog/patchnotes thinking we wouldn't know hahaha thats really bad dev/player relations there

But then I guess only final patch notes are final. Except in EVE they at least mark the changes rather than just remove it.
Or maybe they though if they raise the cap bast 198k people won't even use boosters because 750k a week for free is just fine.
and i stand by saying triple stacking boosters is CCP walking to close to the line with P2W. Not there yet but that's a big advantage.

Problem is they created a perceived increase in the value of a SP Booster. If they are going to try and sweep stuff like this under the rug rather than being open and honest they need to refund all boosters purchased from when the patch notes went up to today.

I was against the 750,000 cap pretty actively when it was first announced.
Then I was convinced by players that it will help out the poor noobs get into PC faster and help give the game a better retention. So I backed off...
Now that lots of people planed and paid for boosters for that 750,000 skill cap and activated them early.. something needs to be addressed by CCP.. Cause if they are back tracking this is another bad business move.
Give everyone 750,000 SP this week for them people that did the 3 day boosters and do it now.. next week you can back track by saying that high skill cap will be only for the first two weeks of major patches or something stupid to save face.
Over 60+ Million SP and full proto in all Caldari Suits. No matter how hard CCP tries Dust just won't die on PS3/Xbox.

A lot of us said the 750K SP was excessive when it was first revealed. But Rattati said no, it's fine. 180 I guess

I don't remember the last time I didn't cap out with at least a day to go. If the sp per match is doubled, I will cap out by the Friday night some weeks. What's the point in playing after that, when I only get 1000sp per match? |

Ask yourself what is less work.. adding the 750,000 today for the people that paid for boosters.. or trying to win back all the people that are gonna feel cheated by not being upfront about the skill cap?

SP cap should be increased but they should tone it down from 750,000. Maybe 500,000. 750,000 benefits try-hards too much. No way I'm ever playing enough to get to 750,000. I can't even reach the current cap. Those of us who have jobs shouldn't be left behind. |

For me it's more of CCP saying one thing and then doing another. Nothing excuses being unprofessional like this with your customers.

Well for a lot of people 1.9 was supposed to be turning over a new leaf. I really hope CCP doesn't stay quiet about this for long. Silence only makes things worse.

Well you still have to play the game and that's a price all on its own . Seriously though a lot of people don't cap as it is so having a higher cap could encourage people to buy boosters for the accelerated SP gain. I know I'm more inclined to buy some 7 and 30 day boosters knowing that a day or two later I won't be stuck gaining at most 1,500 sp a match; and considering we've got quite a few players over 50 mil SP and even people that don't play much have passed 30 mil SP (hell, I'm almost at 40mil and I've taken a handful of month+ long breaks and have only used a couple boosters) so triple stacking boosters is more pay-to-catch-up than pay-to-win.

How much are omega boosters? How much would a new guy have to spend a week for 3?
And yeah total asshat move, the 750k cap increase was this patch's biggest feature. |
