There is still some trouble with swarms and rendering ground troops from the air at a reasonable distance.

I've had some lag here and there, but nothing game breaking. so far I've enjoyed every single match, but one of the new maps had some rendering issues, I think.
Rendering is when something far away doesn't show up with detail, right?
but I love 1.9.

Gallente Research Facility drops in FPS even more so than before in my experience.
The Caldari Production Facility has rendering issues. |

The new Caldari Socket (the one with the three electrical towers in a triangle with spotlights pointed at the sky) is an insane performance killer even with no-one there. I'd hate to see what it's like when an entire team is fighting over it.

Regular game seemed better, but I can confirm PC frame rate dropped down to its normal, extremely frustrating levels. Very disappointed in this, but otherwise a superb piece of work. Love the new maps/sockets, and the improvements to new sockets.

Trying to fly my Viper and Python, i almost thought that the controls were seriously changed. Then I remembered all the times I flew in PC matches... that was lag causing the low sense of control on the dropships,
Specifically maps with new cal facility as the outpost, Spine Crescent and Skim Junction were the worst.

I think it might be how long the ps3 is on. Old bug new face. We'll see.
Or you could turn oceania back on. That way you can separate out people who lag each other to hell via distant connections

I was experiencing a draw distance of like 10m in some parts of the new Outpost. Near the null cannon console that's up high in that little room.

The lag is still here, I'm afraid. It's particularly noticeable on the Research facility (as usual) but it gets crazy bad in PC (also as usual)
It's a shame because it was going so well this morning. Not sure what changed...

This morning I had some great matches. However, later tonight now all the sudden, the lag was horrendous. Everything was glitchy, no matter what I did. My skill point selection was glitchy, restocking suits was, and even moving up and down through the menu was.
Was no way for me to outstrafe people and in some instances I was getting run circles around by reds.
Why am I still here yet?

Ok so I played quite a bit today. To cut a long story short.... in some areas, there is a definite increase in frame rate. The start of battles seem to all be silky smooth, I even had a game on Gallente lab that was fairly smooth, however at some random times on random maps, some areas seem to be just the same as before, possibly a little worse in certain cases.
It is very random indeed.

Yesterday I was lagging as hell at the 5 point map, where point "A" in the tube with 2 entrance, It was like 1 FPS, just slideshow, actualy - this map always lagging, but before patch it was like "U swiming in the watter" now it's just 1 FPS. |

Our squad had some pretty major lag yesterday in Line Harvest and Impact Ridge maps.
Happened once in each map though and went away after awhile.

Well I have to apologize, I was mad after a match with the worst lag ever. I guess we can understand a bit of lag in the patch day.
Maybe you can share some of the data you are collecting about framerate? Is it working?

Played a couple of pub games yesterday and didn't notice any lag... Well perhaps one time when I sudenly teleported on the other side of a wall/cover. Took me a second to figure out what the hell just happened.
Sadly it took just 0.5 second for the enemy team to line up to a fire squad, with me against the wall, and mow my sorry (surprised) ass down. 
It was quite funny actually  |

Been playing Dust for 2 years and yesterday was the worst experience I've ever had playing Dust, the lag, framerate, whatever you want to call it was horrendous, it was causing my aim to be completely off that it reminded me of Battlefield 3 input lag. |

I too had horrible FPS drops on the bridge map yesterday. I didn't feel any framerate increase on other matches though.. Maybe I need to move to Shanghai..

Even initially deploying was laggy for me last night. By the time the menu to change my fitting had loaded, the objective was hacked. Then it took me 30 seconds to deploy. And once I finally got to the battle, nothing rendered properly.
I did manage to kill people who were nowhere near my line of fire a few times though, which was a bonus.
Also, my entire squad had issues with the new toxic mood - our screens went totally black intermittently. It made it really hard to play. |

Not sure what does it but been getting CRAZY lag on the bridge map. To the point where it's unplayable.
Over 60+ Million SP and full proto in all Caldari Suits. No matter how hard CCP tries Dust just won't die on PS3/Xbox.
