How exactly are you supposed to stab someone who knows exactly where you are? They aren't going to just sit there and do nothing about it, and even if they do, their entire team certainly won't.
As for dampening and speed? 2 CPX damps, 1 CPX KC, and ISH CLK. Fast, dampened, and ready to stab some mercs. The only thing to fear is the Focused scanner, in that case, come back in 10 seconds. |

O.K., sorry, I missed that point. However, what I stated is still valid. Whether you are wanting to run HP, Speed, etc, if you are running a scout you should have to use Dampeners or be seen on the tacnet like every other suit on the battlefield. It shouldn't be "I'm a scout so I'm invisible." Again, my problem isn't that I can be scanned whilst running kincats, it's that my location is displayed to the whole team. And until I get Proto damps, I don't see how my min scout can be effective anymore. Hell, I don't know if I even want to use it unless I can use kincats or codebreakers effectively. If I wanted to dampen, I 'd use the Gal or Cal Scouts. 1.9 will be the death of the minja.
Everything is exactly the same with my Minja. Yes there are a few things that will need to be adjusted a bit (reduce effectiveness of team scans and move current scanners to squad, for example), but the Minja is still functional. You just can't rely on your innate profile as much anymore, as it should be, imo. |

I prefer 1.8. There, I said it. Scrub. Damp your fits or go home. I've never been without 2 damps on my fit, and no scout in their right mind should EVER be scanned. Run damps. You're a freaking scout. ADAPT OR DIE /end rant Are you even a min scout?
He is, but does it even matter? He's right, get damped. That's scouting. |
