there is not a logi suit that i do not have a needle on.. i tried using them all the time as long as there was a high chance the person who i was going to rez wasn't going to die in a split second again... and since needles and hives use the same skill there is still a big reason to skill them

I have one AID logi with needle and honestly "call4help" button is awesome, do you know how many times i was revived by some SP fisher with militia one?!

You may be surprised how many people don't even know the is a button to request a revive.

Uhhh... how much is it to max Nanocircuitry? Less than 2 mil Im sure, it cannot be called an SP sink if you can get it done in a month with no events or boosters, and now that the cap is raised you can do it in 2 weeks and you also get nanohives (Allotek 4 lyfe) so...nahhhhhh

Proto scanners ARE an SP sink. The only real use to have them is to scan scouts, but you cant scan scouts..
I only play dust514ums now. It was always more fun than the actual game anyways.

You're wrong. People in your squad love to be picked up, it puts them back in the action quicker. It saves the team clones and you've gotta be a complete moron not to realize that.

whats the point if im out of ammo or the place is covered with reds? there have been times when i ran out of ammo and charge the enemy to at least be a meat shield get taken out and just as im about to get a new restocked **** i come back to life still with no ammo, or its i go down fire fight is raging and a blue would come up pick me up hop away i get shot as im standing up just to go back down and here comes blue and once again pick up dead. what if i die and there is a link closer to a objective that's being hacked across the map?

I've been picked up tons. Even by randoms.
If you go down in a bad spot, don't press the button. They know they can't revive you and you save two clones.
If you see someone close and the area is clear, press the button. 9/10 they go for the free points.
Bullet Hell and Duct-Tape? Count me in!

They should implement a slight modification. Previously, when a player was shot down the person carrying the nanite injector saw the needle icon and the arrow pointing towards the downed clone. However, now when a clone is bleeding out, they should see the needle icon indicating how far away a logi/suit equipped with a nanite injector is. This way players might be more inclined to press the revive button if they know a nanite injector is close by.
Or maybe I'm talking nonsense.

When protostomping in a squad in pubs, or in a PC, the 100% needles are worth their weight in gold, IMO. Even the 80% ones are quite nice.
For general solo and pub use, not so much.
But on the basis of the first point, I disagree with the OP. lolMelee is still the most irrelevant skill in the tree, IMO. |

If you are in dire need of ammo with no hives or depots around, yes. By suiciding you are safe from having a medic with a rusty needle trying to rez you behind enemy lines.
Unless you are in a squad (or have someone like Aero around you) you do not know if the injector being used is 80-100 rez. That's why you need to give consent because you trust the teammate having a good injector. This update will stop teamkill needlespam in FW as well as unwanted revives. |
