I haven't had the chance to play yet, being at work and all, but I was not inspired by the chenges when I read them in the patch notes.
Have i picked up people only to have them die? Absolutely? Did I do it intentionally? Sometimes.
If it's an important fight, Iweigh the pros and cons of coming to try and pick you up. Am I going to die on the way there? If not, can I successfully pick you up without either of us dying?
If I answer NO to either of those questions, I'm not coming to get you. The only time that changes is if I'm on voice comms with a team mate and he's telling me to come anyways.
Why bother, as a logi, to carry a needle anymore? Most people don't request help, even when they want it. My 80% and 100% needles show no differently than a 30% needle to someone dying, how do they know I'm not a scrub logi?
I'm sure, in time, people will adjust to needing to request pickup. I hope.
IMO, the proper fix would have been a instant bleed out button instead of a ask for revive. Death screen doesn't appear until you've bled out, or is adjusted so you can still see the game with the death info subtly around you, NOT taking up the entire screen. Lastly, a death isn't counted until you're actually dead, not just incapacitated on the ground.
Anyways, it is what it is for the time being. Hopefully it will level itself out. If not, I hope Rattati and team take another look and adjust as necessary.

Aborting a Baby has nothing to do with what I was talking about. Besides, abortion is legal in all 50 US states thanks to Roe vs Wade.
Assisted Suicide, however, is what I was talking about. It is legal only in 5 states ( I missed one). OR, WA, MT, VT, and NM allow for doctor assisted suicide.
