That list implies that the majority of the PC matches were held on city maps. HMGs and Shottys are NOT useful on open area maps.
There's only 3 maps in PC and 2 of them are city maps.
Combine that with most of them being Cargo Hubs makes you have to go balls deep in that meatgrinder.
As far as those stats go, yep that's exactly what you see in PC. |

No. I will say production facilities were a lot more fun than cargo hubs. Not sure if I've ever been on the 3rd kind of PC map... or is the 3rd one just the bridge version of those two? Forgive me I haven't played this game in a month.
There's 3 map layouts:
Iron Delta - 4 point
Skim Junction - 5 Point, 3 in city
Spine Crescent - 5 point bridge, 2 in city
Then the city structure changes depending on what infrastructure is there.
Cargo Hub - Rings map featuring the meatgrinder
Production Facility - Twin Towers with Playstation building
Research Lab - Lag City, don't attack one of these... ever. |

lolwat This doesn't even make sense.
Also, unless clone count becomes an issue it's a waste of an equipment slot. You're much more useful with uplinks. |

How often do you die in PC? Is it more like frantically Spawn and Kill, Spawn and Kill, Spawn and Kill, (like Dom) or is it more about mobility, hasting from Point to Point, capture and recapture? (like Skirm)
Im only interested to hear, because I am just a casual public contractor. Most people will report dying much more than pubs for three simple reasons: Better opposing skill, communication, and teamwork. By way of example: I rarely go negative in pubs. I occasionally go positive in PC. Then again, I'm not nearly as good as some PC players, and I tend to run in the city as a scanning scout which is a particularly dangerous role, and I probably play more aggressively than I should.
And if both teams are spamming heavies in the Cargo Hub the death toll can get out of hand fast. |
